Nigel Benn. Reason - WAR. Obviously, Monzon, LaMotta, Hopkins, Jones, too, maybe Graham.

Far too many to choose from, but I'll go with Robinson, Jones Jr, Monzon, Hopkins and Langford

respectfully Langford, RJJ & BHop are technically L-HWs...

yes even the 6' BHop who had months and months to make weight and/or keep weight at near the middleweight level, where as ALL of his great predecessors were true middles, Hopkins then (just like now), would have been a L-HW.

Sorry, but it sure puts BHop and his like into proper historical place!

Monzon....I rate them 1 & 2 respectively among MW's that I have seen footage of....

Hopkins- Hops says this would be a war, and although I disagree I do think it would be brilliant to watch them adjust to one another...

SRR- Although I don't rate SRR as highly as most do at MW, I think this might be one for the ages.

Greb- Greb's record speaks for itself as far as rating greatness goes, but we have a lot of guess work to see hw he fares against certain styles...

Eubank- Because I like Eubank, and hardly anyone else on this forum does...I think Hagler would win, but this would be better than most will admit.

yeah thats right we never saw him fight in over 300 fights from welterweight to HW, so it can't be speculated that he could handle a hagler, monzon or hopkins.

Monzon - just to pit the two greatest middleweights of all time.

Carmen Basillo - Would Hagler chose to box or would be engage the great Basillo?

Ray Robinson - Who wouldn't like to see it?

James Toney - i think Hagler would take the role of the agressor in this one

Bernard Hopkins - Great Tactical Fight

Greb - Action fight... and you aren't going to KO Hagler anyway so your best chance may be to outwork him.
Ken Overlin - My flavor of the month. Could an ultimate cutie take the necessary rounds.
SRR - If you need to ask, you don't know boxing.
Monzon - Methodical, stoic and unrelenting. Fireworks would ensue in the late rounds.
Roy Jones, Jr. - The hypergifted pot-shotter versus the Blue Collar guy who brings his lunch pail (and you better bring yours').

:roll:Wow! You got a hard on about something...I meant how not hw if that is what you are refering to. I also don't doubt his greatness, but if you believe you can analyze how he fares and adjust to different styles and opponents more powere to you...I have no doubt of his greatness, but I also have no evidence of how he adjusts or how his speed/power translates into reality with no film??

I don't believe that I speculated that he could not, rather that i don't have any evidence to pick/guess one side or the other! If that is out of line????
