Golovkin- Canelo II - I cant stand Canelo and his fanboys and Golovkin is a decent man.

    Kovalev-Ward I
    Hagler-Leonard

I personally felt Jofre deserved the win in Harada I but not sure it’s deemed “controversial” if that qualifies I’d put that in.

Great post...and I agree with you on Canelo-GGG....I can't stand Canelo or anything else associated with ODL.

I’d have chosen those fights in the past but I get exactly what I wanted in chapter 4.

As mentioned before, Lockridge-Gomez. Lockridge was a really good fighter who is more of a footnote now, and a win over even this dilapidated version of Gomez would improve his standing historically.

Muniz-Napoles 1: One of the more disgusting displays of favoritism you'll ever see. Blatant robbery. Muniz was basically disqualified for having the temerity to strike Naploes with his fists and make him bleed his own blood. The sight of the crowd leaping up and down and cheering orgasmically as their bloodied hero's hand was raised in a technical decision victory he did absolutely nothing to earn was nauseating. Muniz thoroughly beat Napoles that day but the powers that be were not going to allow it.

Henry Armstrong-Ceferino Garcia - Stretching Hanks already unfathomable record to holding 4 titles in 4 (of 8) divisions simultaneously.

Hearns-Leonard II - Because Tommy deserved to get his win against Ray that night and they robbed him of his moment in the sun.

Quartey-De La Hoya - I thought Ike edged this. By gutting it out in the 12th, staying on his feet during that final onslaught and constantly throwing back when he was nearly out...I thought he earned this win. I’ll never forget the look in his face when they announced the decision.

Schmeling Sharkey II might be a good call. I think that having Schmeling defending the title instead of Sharkey, could have resulted in a significantly more competitive heavyweight era.

The Wilder Fury decision was not only unfair to Fury personally, it was also bad for boxing in general. If Fury had walked away with the WBC belt, then a unification fight with Joshua to create a truly undisputed champion, would be as good as arranged for Wembly Stadium next year.

I dont know why Mancini getting shafted against Camacho isnt brought up more. Clean win for Mancini in my book.

    Great subject!!!!!
Only controversial to me. I thought Duran beat Hagler. Give him the decision.
I thought Eddie Davis was completely screwed vs Spinks. Life changer.
Maidana beat Mayweather in 1st fight. Luckily he knew it and after the rematch felt no reason to keep fighting.
Holmes kicked Spinks ass in the second fight. The judges should kiss his big black ass.

The Fenech/Nelson (I) bout is a good shout.

I'd have to add the Lewis vs. Holyfield I (to Lewis) and then it's a toss-up between Pacquiao vs. Bradley I and Mayweather Castillo I bouts.
