if you go are a pro can you go back to the amateurs?

    No. You'll be banned from USA Boxing for life. Toughman constests and club boxing are considered pro as well, basically anything that is not sanctioned by USA boxing and you receive money for the competition.

    It has happened before though. I believe Chagaev did this and one other fighter that slips my mind right now. I believe they both did it unwillingly though, thinking it was an exhibition yet it showed up on their pro record. To answer your question, as it already has been, no you can't do this.

    Just the other day I was thinking about this:

    What if someone was a sparring partner and was recieving money for it? Would he still be able to box in amuaters?

    Receiving money for sparring? Not sure about that one. USA Boxing has a rule against amateurs and professionals training together. It happens, but it's best that USA Boxing doesn't know about it. They are sticklers.
