Would that be the same brand of crack that people who thought Calzaghe could beat Lacy were smoking?

 

If your basing what would happen in the Hopkins - Calzaghe fight on what happened in the Taylor fights...your insane. They are two ENTIRELY different fighters. Plus MOST people (not most Hopkins fans....go look at polls, articles, posts, discussions, etc.) feel Hopkins won one or both of those so...

When will people understand that just because one guy loses to one fighter, doesnt mean that another will beat him. Fighter A, Fighter B, Fighter C crap at its best.

 

Do Taylor or Tarver compare to Joe Calzaghe?

Taylor?! Hopkins was real close in both Taylor fights, mostly do to Taylor's range and workrate, along with youthful aggression. Wake up my friend.

 

Let's not forget that Joe Calzaghe has the exact same ability.

And right now, his speed, timing, and workrate are much better than Bernard. I've been a fan of Bernard's for over a decade, but I don't see how he beats Calzaghe.

Jones - Hopkins was pre-prime Hopkins (he wasnt even the same fighter stylistically) and pre-prime Jones.

You know what.....this is getting sad....Im gonna do what I said Id do and wait a few days before discussing this. Right now people are too blinded by Joe's MASTERFUL performance tonight.

JC vs. B-hop would be a good fight, and JC has a strange enough style and quick enough hands to give B-hop something he hasn't seen before. Flame all you want, you won't put your house on B-hop in this fight because you know it's a lot closer than you want to pretend.

 

Hopkins has been so ****ing boring and inactive in recent fights, he should just retire! The Wright fight was incredibly, unbearably bad. I couldnt even sit thew the entire fight. I feel bad for anyone that bought that ****ing pure garbage on PPV for 50 $! I watched for free on HBO the next week and couldnt even sit threw it. The Taylor fights were ****ing dreadful and ****, Hopkins wasnt throwing any punches! He has just been so inactive and lame in his recent fight. Calzaghe could out-work Hopkins by landing 12 punches a round and dominate the fight, Hopkins has been so ****ing inactive and lame.

 

Joe doenst have to hit flush - he "slaps" them!

I totally favor Bernard in this one, but I feel it WILL be a very close fight. As much as he was overstating Hopkins and understating Joe....go and look, there are 100 people doing the same thing to Bernard.
