I believe Jones backed away from the rematch cause he wanted a 60/40 split in his favour, not because "Old *******" didn't call for him. A payday should compensate for the physical sacrifice of both but Jones called himself a Superstar and was knocked out as a Superstar 2 years later, after that only the man who kayoed him wanted a rematch to beat him again, now only Tito wants his overrated ass.

 

No, but let's stop going beyond what this win meant for Calzaghe and for others. National pride aside, Calzaghe is the best Super Middle in the World and possibly a top 3 P4P but one is only satisfied when he makes it near to his goal and Joe wants more... So let him make unbelievers worship him and that means the scary Americans or else, let's just keep the talk short. Floyd went to the MGM Grand to beat Hoya in front of his fans, Hatton goes there to fight Floyd, why wouldn't Joe face Bernard if he's convinced he has always been superior, now more than ever?

 

He's said he wants Hopkins next....I'd guess it'll be in America. It would have been a great fight a few years ago and I'd probably have picked Hopkins but right now (not because of the Kessler fight) this is an easy nights work for Calzaghe.

The top 10 lb 4 lb list is a list made up of fighters from different divisions all over the weight scales...So does it really make sense that the only way you'd climb up the lb 4 lb list is if you beat top 10 lb 4 lb fighters? Please take this statement back!!!! atsch
