14 to 1 is just stupid. This should almost never exist in combat. Not only can Peterson catch Khan but Khan isn't a devastating puncher or a flawless boxer. The possibilities of stamina, late ko, cut, body shot could all factor as well as Peterson have a good set of skills which have been proven at the highest level.

I agree and well put, I make my living gambling just on boxing and I have done extremely well, 97% of the long shots win in boxing you can make a ton of money but remember you still have 3% that loose so what I do To stay away from that 3% is just like anklespanker was saying if a 1/14 looks like a 1/50 then go for it, today i bet Glovkin he was 1/20 I liked the fight a whole lot and he was fighting in Germany his home town where Khan is fighting in washington in lamont petersons home town so if it is a close fight Lamont Peterson has that home field edge that is the only thing I don't like about that fight unless you really think that the fight is not going to be close.

Peterson is at home and will surely leave everything in the ring, he is gonna go for it bigtime. He's never been stopped either and has as long a reach as Amir has faced in his career.

The guy is a live underdog.

That said I think Khan is improving and with his speed should put some rounds in the bag early before Lamont sneaks into it.

I think Khan has every chance of getting caught flush in this, but it is more likely to be a Flash KD as Peterson does not have concussive power looking at his record.

If you gave me 14K for this fight I'd stick it on Khan points @6/4 ish but I think he's gonna have some dodgy moments.

14/1 both fighters hit the deck ....

Even at 1/10 I wouldn't touch that. Khan despite being a World level operator abet fighting in maybe the weakest division in the sport he's just not value for money after already being KO'd clean by a much lesser fighter.

Hey Manning, clearly not a Khan fan then? Why mention that you think it's one of the weakest divisions in a talk about 1 on 1 betting?

It was a (very poor) attempt at trolling.

NO....odds are too ****.....cause in boxing....even with a non puncher....anything can happen......if you asked people that question before the Kirkland Ishida fight....what would they say

Lesson learned....Khan will win....but nothing is worth that risk.

Well Khan has risen to the top of a division that doesn't really have any depth to it and still has looked shaky getting there. I think Prescott who is a very average fighter and was able to smash Khan to pieces means alarm bells ring in my mind when Khan is considered a sure bet against a much lesser fighter. Quite frankly it makes it seem insane to think a much better fighter can't do the same.

Of course Khan has improved massively, but so much so to back him at 1/14? I think not.

Personally if Khan wins this I put him ahead of Hatton.
