Hmmm.. The Prescott fight was at 135 though wasn't it? So that says nothing about 140.. When Khan fights Mayweather and Pacquaio, win or lose I'll have him above Ricky.

    You're so wrong it's unreal.

What you find, when you analyse the data, is that as a price gets shorter it approaches the price that reflects the true probability of an outcome.

I don't get why anybody would do that.

If they've got £14K they don't mind losing then they're hardly gonna bother sticking it on a 14-1 bet. What's a grand to someone who doesn't care if they lose 14k?

If they need the extra grand then it's just not worth risking the 14k because then they'll be well and truly ****ed.

    insane bet

Yes. Purely because I'd enjoy the fight much more and 15k is a nice rounded number.

    I'm an idiot.

As mentioned before if you think the price is good then I would say deffo place the bet.

You need to look at it like a calculated investment. (ie: Does Khan beat petersen 14 time our of 15 or better??) if the answer is yes, then its a +ev bet.

Personally I would not place the bet but thats purely down to the fact I dont have 14k.

    Exactly this.

and if you do need the 1 you're a mug to risk the 14

If I was a mutli millionaire then only maybe, no way I would do that as a average joe.

In boxing anything can happen, peterson is not a part timer boxing mug, although I will put some money on khan to win on points and rnd 6-12.

Actually the odd for khan is 1/10, still no for me.

If I had £14k, it'd be going on Biarritz (-2) at Treviso today. 10/11.

    **** 1/14.
