If you had been a boxing referee, who would you have liked to be like? Maybe an Arthur Mercante Sr, or perhaps a Mills Lane?

Carlos Padilla Jr, mainly for his involvements in so many high profile fights, and also the fact that he is also a fellow Filipino as well. There's also Frank Cappuccino or Steve Smoger that I wouldn't mind being.

Arthur Mercante Sr. very thorough, experienced. He refereed the rematch between Floyd Patterson vs Ingo, June 20 1960, and The Fight Of The Century on March 8 1971, Muhammad Ali vs Joe Frazier.

I don't know that I'd like to be him, but I would have liked to have seen the fights that Arthur Donovan refereed from his vantage point.

I'm not a fan of Mils Lane. He butt his nose into the fighters' business too often for my taste. He had too much of an ego, and it showed.

Mills Lane for me small in stature but he stood no BS from the big boys. when "he DQ'D Akinwande against Lennox his " Ok Fred Astaire youre outta here" was classic
