If you had to bet your life on 1 current boxer to beat Floyd who would it be?

Lara could win wih the right activity and right gameplan
Doubt he could make 147 though
Think Thurman has the best chance

Say what you want but Matthysse could give Mayweather hell a smart pressure fighter goes head and body and works for 12rounds

Doesnt throw shots from weird angles like Maidana but throws them hard and in punches

Hate to lump myself in with the likes of boxingmaster but I have to say pacquiao as well. The speed, work rate, and southpaw stance give him the best chance. Tim bradley is awkward, fast and willful enough to give floyd problems I think as well but I'm not really convinced. Problem is we will never see those fights. Bummer.
P.S-if maidana paces himself early and bangs Floyd's body good first few rounds before resorting to clubbing overhand rights I think he could do well to.

Has to be someone not willing to box with a boxing ace like Floyd, but he's also very good at everything else, as well rounded and schooled as they come, of course, punching power is lacking, but with opponents that present little danger to him he really doesn't need power much to change outcome of a fight he's in trouble cuz he rarely is. Maidana has that style to beat Floyd, but the big question mark is if he's good enough to do it. In their first fight he came awfully close. I also think Thurman might have a chance, probably be a Honeyghan to Floyds Curry, but Thurman isn't proven yet. Bradley and Pacman can be and still are some of the best swarmers in the game, tho recently at 147 they've boxed more than swarm, which if they boxed falls to Floyds advantage. These 2 aren't Ricky Hatton they'll give Floyd a very tough time regardless.

    Erisandy Lara

    Manny Pacquiao

    Timothy Bradley

All 3 have very good chances based on their styles and conditioning .
