it requires time and nostaliga IMO; none of those fighters have particularly engrossing fallout which made the Cooney-Holmes/Bowe-Golta etc etc so intriguing.

For example the Lewis-Tyson doc (which was the first episode of a proposed 2nd series) was probably the weakest of the lot IMO.

EDIT: The Oscar-Tito doc was boring.

 

Older fights.

I don't really need to re-live these recent fights in which I remember the build up, the fight, the aftermath.

I'd rather see something from the 70s and 80s that shows new or lesser seen footage.

I'd also like to see HBO do a bit extra research so they don't provide us with classics like "A Nicaraguan judge named Ken Morita gave Arguello nearly every round, so much that Alexis was ahead by a whopping margin of 2 points after 13 rounds", or over-dramatize things so people won't pollute message boards with more Legendary Nights myths.

 

Yep, I thought it was strange that they made it out that Pryor needed a K.O to win. I had him one or two points ahead and as everyone knows I'm an Arguello aficionado :good

 

I never scored it RBR but I got the impression that Pryor was winning by a fair amount.

 

An episode on Gatti-Ward would be pretty depressing given what has happened.
