Bit of fantasy matchmaking. Say you're Eddie Hearn and you've gone back in time about a month and decided to put together a better undercard for Bellew-Cleverly II - what would you have done, realistically? I'd have gone - Bellew-Cleverly Quigg-Galahad Callum Smith-Sjekloca McDonnell-Haskins/Ward Joshua-Johnson Degale-Periban Crolla-Paulus Moses Groves-Douglin Just a few changes which keeps the big names (e.g. Smith/Degale/Groves) but then includes Crolla in a close fight, Joshua in a big step up, Quigg in a tough domestic fight and McDonnell in a very winnable domestic fight. All of a sudden, Hearn could claim he has 4 50/50s on the bill with a few other interesting fights and it's suddenly a good card. Shame it couldn't have happened...
Take off the last two, keep the joshua fight as it is so to give the crowd a fun knockout. Is stephen smith fully fit, if so get him in a tune up and someone like Robbie Davies jr as the doors open would be good for the exposure, maybe another one of his sub 10 fight guys
