    Am I missing something? Mayweather made a more than fair comprimise with a 14 day window(too big IMO), and Pacquiao balked at it. Now, 5 months later, he claims he's fine with 14 days. What changed in those 5 months? It seems to me that had he just agreed to the 14 days back in January, the fight would've happened already. I doubt Mayweather offers 14 days again. Just look at this quote from USADA C.E.O Travis Tygart;

"If you know you aren’t going to be tested within the last 14 days, you can cheat and get away with it. It is our right to test at any time, 30 days before the fight, 20 days before, the week of, the morning of – that provides the deterrent. If you block out a period of time and say we can’t test during that period, then an athlete could cheat and get away with it.”

I have to give Pacquiao credit though, he's starting to think like a politician. He's put Mayweather in a catch 22. If Mayweather okays the 14 day window, the USADA won't be involved and his whole "clean up the sport" mantra will seem hollow as he would be engaging in drug testing that still contains a large loophole for cheaters. On the other hand, if he doesn't okay the 14 days, he will look bad as he originally proposed the comprimise. He retracted the comprimise well before Pac said he was willing to do 14 days, but at this point it won't matter much from a P.R prospective.

Proof of what? You didn't read my post, as i didn't make an allegation.
But, i'll dumb it down for you. Show me any allegations prior to let's
say the hatton fight with manny where he was being labeled a "user"
If you can, then you show me proof. If you can't, then I showed you
    proof.

Cristo you said "This was a rumor that got out of hand"

how do you know that for sure if Pacquiao won't take the test?

Also what difference does it make when it started being mentioned? if it was before Hatton or even before Marquez. I'm sorry but just because nobody had brought it up before doesn't mean the guys 100% innocent.

First time round I say say Pac.

This time round if it breaks down after Pac has moved to 14 days then I say Floyd is to blame. Not because he's not entilted to move the goal posts as it is 5 months after Pac refused the deal but because he would be letting his ego stop him from budging. However, I see it breaking down over Mayweather asking for more money and he has the right to after the last bouts PPV numbers. would be a shame though.

However, until Negotiations are actually unsuccessful I blame no one.

And because the gayrunners said he's 1% guilty that pac has to adhere
to testing that has never ever been administered in the history of pro
boxing? C'mon, if you're not smarter than that then i have some beach
front property i'd like to sell you in arizona.

No thats not what i'm saying. the lad there said "this was just a rumor". I wanted to know how he could be 100% sure on that (without any tests)

I'm sure all boxers would answer calls of suspected PED use by taking the test.

I've said before that this isn't a court of law scenario, were you're innocent until proven guilty, as the only way to prove pac guilty is by taking random tests (something pacquaio has still to agree to)

But even if it was a court of law scenario, suspects can use an alilbi to prove they are innocent. Why couldn't Pac just take the test an prove he was innocent.

I'm not saying Pac is 100% on something but you must admit it doesn't look good for him. I also have an open mind so there for can't understand why people are willing to say things like "this is just a rumor". As until tests are done nobody bar team pacquiao can be 100% sure.

You're sure other boxers would take the test?

Nobody who isn't a ***** like you has to be sure. This is team pussyweather's rumor. Yes rumor. Look up the word rumor at
wikepedia and you'll see the definition of the word describes this whole event.

You obviously still thnk the testing they do now is significant enough already, even tho every other sport in the world has moved on?

You think because something is done for the first time, its wrong?

I guess you think John L Sullivan pushing for the use of Queenbury rules was a travesty seeing it was the first time fighters wore gloves in the history of boxing.

    Sports evolve. Think about it!

Yes i'm sure other boxers would take the test as they have already came out an said they would. Sugar Shanes only after doing it ffs.

Not once have i said anything nuthuggery about Floyd, you know theres more to boxing than Pac & Floyd don't you. Opening your mind abit, just because i want to see this fight happen, doesn't mean im a *****.

Id be happy enough with no tests and a 50/50 spilt just to see this fight happen. But even then that doesn't address the possible use of PEDs in the sport, which like it or not, is now a major issue in boxing.

Fair enough maybe its a cultural thing, in some places like here a rumor can be defined as 'misinformation'

    meaning 'wrong information/False'

Shane was a known and accused user, so he should take the test.
Also, if there's more to boxing than these two, then why does your post
count on this very subject eclipse mine? I usually stay away from this
thread subject, but was baited today on account of the low response count. Open my mind? Hmmmmmm, let's see. You beleive unsubstanciated
accusation(rumor), and i don't go with logic and reputation(facts). Now
    who has the open mind?
Seriously, i'd stick around to own you some more, but i have to go hit the gym.

P.S. And for the record, i'd love to see this fight but sadly won't
because floydie is scared of the big bad filipino named pac-man.

I suppose my post count can be a little misleading, i had my last account stolen.

I havn't once said i believed anything? :huh (where you get that from)?
All i said was that the possibilty is there that pac might be using (which is a fair thing to think after he refused to be tested)

And not to **** on Freddy Roach as i think hes a great trainer an good for the sport but havn't his fighters in the past tested positive for banned substances?

boxing fans are easily swayed by recent events. pac accepting the 14 days cut-off while floyd refusing it now has an impact on current opinions when back then, it was supposed to be both their fault for this fight not happening. now more people will say floyd and rightly so until he agrees to the 14 days cut-off.
