    Random question but do you think it is a good idea to put your boxing acheivements on your CV? I think it's fair to say that Boxings image amongst our middle class friends is perhaps not as healthy as say, Karate e.t.c.

    I say I used to box on my CV. I said it gave me determination and respect and some other bollocks. I thought it might come across as agressive, so I also put that I like listening to whale music and reading books to even it out.

    When a career advisor was helping me fill out a CV and she asked me my hobbies and i mentioned i was an amateur boxer she said that was a great thing as it shows you are disciplined and hardworking etc.

    I boxed for years and was always told to write down your achievements on a CV.

    :lol::lol::lol:

    Classic stuff.

    On a more serious note though, sure put it on there. "Work-Life Balance" or whatever other corporate wank term they use these days is important to be demonstrated. Even more so if you've actually done well.

    I say no.
    I used to box but I never put it on my CV (I have nothing worth bragging about either).

    I have interviewed hundreds of people in my time. My unfair assumption would be, all other things being equal, that the ex boxer could potentially be a more difficult individual to manage, and I don't need the hassle of that.

    Put ex Tennis player instead, or something as equally gay.
