He has the same style ,he's far from being a punching bag and he counters very well a style that team Top Prank want no part of.

    WAR 1

Look how Juan takes two steps back when Pac doubles his jab and throws the left and get hit all the time.

    War 2

See Pac do the chicken dance this fight did ya forget!!! And look how much Muscle mass Pac has put on since then compared to Juan one of the reason Pac needs to take his Milkshake ...you can't lose weight without it he only gets stronger.

Juan Marquez won both fights and at the time Top Prank needed a new face in boxing and he just happen to be Pinoy. Mexicans all ready have hero's in boxing so why not expose a Pinoy for more money and HBO ...and you know what it worked.....If you look at the movie

If JMM won both fights with Pac, why the hell do you want a 3rd fight for? Wouldn't HBO rob JMM again as you claim they did? :smoke

Oh, JMM would win, but at 130-135lbs. His age and his slow decline wouldn't help him over 140. It would be interesting if Pacman would try to stop him or outbox him the 3rd time. I have mad respect for Manny, but I ain't no ******* and you can put up a poll anytime and will always have JMM winning those 2 fights or a getting a draw and a win. The *******s are the only ones that fail to understand that.

JMM still looks like he'll give pac the same trouble. But you are not accounting the fact that pac clearly put on the higher weight much more comfortably than JMM and this fight will surely take place at a higher weight class. Plus, pac gave JMM more trouble in the second fight than he did in the first ( yes he KD JMM 3 times but got embarrassed the rest of the rounds.). Pac has only gotten better since his fight with JMM while Marquez has showed signs of slowing down.

Marquez went to a draw against a one handed Pacquiao. Pac has gotten better. He would clearly beat Marquez now, regardless of the weight.

Pac was still left-hand happy in the second fight. Pac has made serious improvements. A third fight will prove it.

  12. To the OP:

Do you think Marquez beats Hatton, ODLH @ 147, Cotto, Clottey, or Margarito?

If you answer no, then how can he beat a prime Pac who demolished all of those names?

If you answered yes, then you're stupid as ****.

    :rofl

Pac obviously was meant to be a fighter fighting at 140 and higher. This is where he rose to become a true ATG. You have to accept that he was drained at 130 and below.

Fighters like bradley when he stepped up from 140 to 147 he was half the fighter.
When JMM stepped up 2 weight classes he did that for a payday. Knowing there was no shot to win only to not be knocked down would be the victory.

Manny would have a huge edge now with his ability to watch film and study his opponents something Roach said he never did before. Manny is still on the improve while JMM is on the decline. He looked great vs Katsidis because Katsidis only has a good left hook and has little defense.

If JMM wants Manny he has to come up in weight and that would be the fight right there as Manny would be too quick and strong. 99% of fighters don't carry their speed when they step up 5% or more of their fighting weight.

I think Marquez's best bet in this fight is to use a similar strategy he did with Kastidis and punish Manny's body over and over again and try to stay away from his power. Also when you counter, counter with combinations and make Manny go backwards when you attack
