See I'm not just a pretty face :yep

Swimming is a good way to learn and practise breathing using your diaphragm, as is yoga (no homo).

I've noticed the "No Homo" used quite a bit in the lounge, might have to start using it in my office

The Beaver's only provided a brief overview - Old Man will fill us in with all the missing details.

Well he should've stated the answer straight up and not have the forum hanging on ala Ashley's Q&A episodes

...as you punch push a breath out your nose...this inadvertently helps you take in little breaths inbetween punches thrown...

The answer to my earlier question is sing when you run.
Now this might seem easy to a lot of people but I assure you it isn,t.
To achieve this you must isolate your breathing to be able to sing, when you try it the first time you will understand it is not as easy as you think and I doubt if anyone trying it for the first time could run more than a couple of hundred yards.
When you do achieve this and can run and sing comfortably you have successfully isolated your breathing as well as slowing your heart rate thus enabling you to multi task. Master this and you will never gas in fights I assure you

    Interesting one Old Man.

Personally, probably like a lot of others, I struggle to talk fluently after I've been running for a while. Looks like I've got some work to do mate.

    this makes absolutely no sense.

the bodies physiological response to increased energy output is an increase in respiration. it increases because more oxygen is needed to feed the muscles and organs that are worker harder than usual.

if you sing then the oxygen you breath in is having to convert into carbon dioxide and basically being wasted....

you have to elaborate on this theory

did you use this technique against big jim west when you were forced to go 15 rounds?> did it work well?
