I had Leonard winning 7-5 btw. Not the Petronelli brothers finest hour that fight.

 

Nope, Marv' looked plodding most of the time, with no real tactical shifts (other than changing to southpaw, which as you told me is due to Leonards mind games) and Leonard won it, I think I had it 116-112.

 

I'm not a massive Leonard fan, but you can't help but admire him. What a fighter, truly one of the Greats.

 

Yep, 7-5 is probabily being generous to Hagler, no problem with 8-4. Criminal mistake to think he could outbox Leonard.

 

How can you not be a massive fan of Ray Leonard, mate?

 

I love watching him fight, don't get me wrong!!!

I just think he's a nobhead.

He was a bad ass, don't get me wrong. But on the gear he was apparently quite a vile bloke.

As I say, I never allow that to get in the way of watching/enjoying fights. Only when it comes to choosing 'favourites' based on ability/style AND persona :good
