I did laugh, but it was a laugh of astonishment and the fact you could almost smell it beforehand, this was quickly followed by a long series of anger.

 

I can sort of understand how some people would see that, in my opinion however Abril did everything completely correct against Rios, this is what I personally find entertaining about boxing, some people will agree with me, some won't, fortunately he has laid out a blueprint and now he is vulnerable to anyone with a half decent jab or defence, so will get the loss he deserves eventually.

Rios got schooled....anyone with half a brain, a decent chin and decent technical skills will now make Rios look pathetic again. Youll never see Rios in with a skilled boxer again, theyll avoid boxers like the plague..... Bring on the alvarados of the world..judah vs rios would be nice to see a one sided beating of rios

 

Holding?...That must be a new term for when u outbox tha shiet out of somebody..Im sorry but he didnt hold as much as he fought,and outsmarted Rios...not only that, but holding is a part of boxing...I know u like brawlers but lets be real...Brawlers have no longjevity...all of them or mismatches waiting to happen for a slick boxer..Brawlers are one dimensional, boring, all of them are the same...brawling is not complicated to do...just swing punches with ur face open....a hobo could do it..Boxers take YEARS to develop....What u think gonna happen in rios future?..He's gonna get outboxed again!..Brawlers simply dont know how to fight

 

I can sort of see where the op is coming (even though he's obviously a dedicated player of the pink Trombone) as I laughed my tits off when Dirrell got robbed by Froch in Nottingham.

 

I'm sorry, but that is two different levels, dirrell won a maximum of 7 rounds, I personally think it was 6-6 with the point deduction, abril won 10-12 rounds

Eh, I don't think the Froch/Dirrell decision is analogous to Abril/Rios. . .

Sure, I think Dirrell won the fight, but it wasn't a 10-2 type decision. . . I feel Dirrell should have won 114-113. . . 7 rounds to 5, with the point deductions.

 

I told my cousin it would happen before they read the cards and then we all started LOL when they did.

 

One thing I did find kind of telling, was how at first Rios wasn't celebrating, but then after he went back to his corner, he all the sudden started celebrating. . . It was like the judges gave him a look like, "come on, at least make it look like you think you won"
