Hopefully you have learned to NEVER attempt to create a thread deeply rooted in common sense and logic...and asking people to have an appreciation along with a "Healthy Respect" for fighters within this Sport that "we" (or at least some of us) love so much. As you can see...it will only be met with a bunch of idiots saying the SAME ****, and of course the large number of people who completely lack the basic ability to comprehend what they have just read.

    Good Luck:-(

    lol
    :deal

But again... I guess some would rather see Fraud Mayweather fight old man Mosley than for example, Manny Pacquiao.... That way they can live through him, through his unbeaten record and his large bank account... Do you know how rich he is? Boy, that make him so great... That's what we've come to enjoy about boxing. A P4P bragging about how rich he is, about how he's the greatest of all time, instead of actually trying to prove it to the whole world... That's what's great... :thumbsup Let's all stop thinking about big matches and the sort, and let's all rejoice on how great boxing and boxing characters are today...

What about Larry vodka breath Merchant and Teddy Atlas? Great characters too... Maybe even greater that the boxers they comment... We should give them fighter of the decade titles!

You can downplay any resume like this my friend. Tell me your favorite fighter and I will destroy him

Right. I'm just trying to chalk it up to a 15 year old being 15. I just hate that he has to use a Whitaker avatar while making such asinine arguments.

    What's asinine about them? :nut

    Well let's see...
Right... Nothing to say against that.

Right huh? Maybe besides the *****S who hate him because he overshadows Mayweather, I think Pac is pretty much universally liked... He's a likable guy, unlike a douche like Gayweather...

Not sure what that's supposed to mean, if anything, but whatever...

Ah ok so he was talking about the people who go for the bad guy... I'm often one of those guys, funny when you're the only guy to cheers for Vargas when the whole room is packed with Hoya fans...

Right, plaster of paris Margacheato... 17 pounds heavier... Who was ducked by Fraud Mayweather...

There's not much to say against Pac. JMM (at his own weight), Moralez, Barrera, Cotto, Cheato, etc... And note, although some of these fighters came from a loss, they were much bigger than Pac... Pac could have done like Hopkins, stayed in his own division, but no, the guy took chances... Of course there were the 'easy' fights, like Fraud he fought vs an old Hoya, Hatton, again, even then dangerous because of the size difference, but there's also the style, the way he fights against those fighters.

Unlike Fraud, his fights are exciting, explosive... Fraud will just coast to a 12rd win vs boxers like Hatton, Hoya, Mosley, etc... If they were against serious contenders and not against past prime older fighters, seeing him do his thing would be great. But against boxers who are but shadows of their former selves, or 2nd rate, it's tedious. And that's my issue.

If he fought against fighters worth fighting, it would be awesome. But that ****ing crap they try to sell us, vs Hoya, Gatti, Manfredy, Mosley, it's ****ing disgusting. At least Pac goes after his opponent and make fights interesting. Mayweather puts on a borefest...

I think this vid describes how I feel about "appreciating what Mayweather brings to the table"

"Everybody just wants to see you in a good fight, that's all"

If Fraud actually cared about legacy, proving he's the best, you know, the whole thing would be a moot point. But trying to praise a fighter for his out of the ring antics when he won't get in the ring against the better boxers out there, it's ****ing stupid. It just shows how pathetic boxing has become. Hey, we get **** matches, but look at this punk making an ass out of himself, look at him wave his money around, listen to the imbecile's racist video, oh he's such a bad guy, this is so ****ing awesome!. Uh, no!

Hey, this other boxer, who's been KO'd many times, has losses, is an asian midget, everybody wants to see Fraud in the same ring with. Let's not ****ing do it. Let's go on vacation instead... And let's pretend like we're the best boxer of all time... Let's not get in the ****ign ring against anyone who threatens that '0'... Let's make ******ed videos, let's pretend like we want to fight him, and then let's not...

But hey, let's appreciate this guy doing his thing against a ****ING 38 YEAR OLD BOXER... Yes, let us appreciate his skill. You know what? **** off... This sort of brain dead mentality is what allows frauds like Gayweather to get away with being a coward.

You know when people can appreciate boxers? It's when they FACE ADVERSITY. When they have an opponent in front of them. If they ****ing face an old guy who gets tired after 3 ****ing rounds, what's the ****ing point??? Put them against a serious opponent, and let's enjoy the match! Then we'll get to appreciate their skill...

Otherwise, there's nothing to appreciate... These BS propaganda fights aren't worth ****. People want to see real fights. Competitive fights. Not vs the boxers of the past ready for retirement and ripe for the picking... Not vs older and smaller fighters... You know, the real ****ing fights! No ****ing ***** **** ducking...

While I agree that the namecalling and blind hating is unnecessary, if everyone just mutually respected fighters there would be little room for debate and such.
