If you ranked fighters purely on who they beat who would be top?

Young Corbett III was by far his best win. TKO1 of a fellow great, and a ****ing underrated one at that - the man beat Billy Conn, Fred Apostoli, Jackie Fields and Mickey Walker, among others. But I bet his name wouldn't feature anywhere near a top 100 list - of course Lupe Pintor and Carlos Palomino would be on there. Probably Ken Norton, too.

KO1 Corbett is one of the best wins in boxing IMO. He was stopped as a kid, he was stopped as a middleweight but he was never stopped in his prime at his prime weight...aside from once in the first round by Jimmy.

Even if you're as straight as a ruler, there wouldn't be any shame in pitching a tent reading that list.

It's all the more remarkable when you consider that he had less fights than a lot of other greats without any filler.

Jimmy McLarnin definitely holds the best record per amount of fights, I think. He only had a few, but as was mentioned, they were mostly quality opponents.

How about fighters from the 60s onwards? My history beyond that isn't very good yet.
