What do you guys think about the prospect of someone like Floyd/GBP being able to start their own boxing federation. I mean, we all know the curruption that's going on, it's politics as usual while the few thrive on the many. So, what if? What if we could have a boxing league, like UFC, where fair is fair. To hell with all these belts and all this B.S.! Is it possible? Floyd and GBP are doing so well financially right now, that it would be a longshot for them to step up like this "to clean up the sport", but what if they did? What would it look like? I love boxing but I don't care for politics much... So, is this a possibility, theoretically? Legally?

Floyd is suspicious of Pacquiao I doubt his motive has anything to do with actually cleaning up the sport.
I think you're probably right, but hey, one can hope. He's just an example of someone who might be involved....maybe he and Manny can go in on it together after Floyd whoops him.
Yeah I don't think including any present promotion company would be a good idea. You really need a rich media mogal who can intimidate these snakes, offer the incentives to the fighters and provide the infrastructure and exposure needed to ride out any rough patches. Something similar to what Kerry Packer (Aussie media mogul billionaire) did with Cricket.
Hahahaha yeah. Even though I don't think his goal was to "clean the sport up" I think that it has raised awareness about the issue and now Berto and Ortiz are gonna have random testing too (I'm pretty sure) and perhaps more and more big fights will implement osdt which can only be good for the sport.
