to be honest what i've seen of bute he looks good but i dont think we'll know just how good till he fights froch ward or even kessler
Bute didn't want no part of the Super 6. That would have exposed him earlier then the plan allows. For the Frank W. plan to success, Bute has to face at least 75% of the bums that launched Calzaghe and Kessler's careers.
I think he had to rematch Andrade or something. if he joined people would have said he is avoiding andrade, just think about it. If Bute joined the super six chances are abraham wouldnt have been considered the "beast" he was, Dirrell probably wouldnt have had the shining start he did against abraham and lost and Ward would have probably got some home decision whilst in the meantime Andrade would have been racking up some wins with some sort of right to the IBF title and people would be complaining why he wasnt in the supersix and to be honest there is money to be made after the super six with the Bute fight. Also HBO had a contract with bute that would have killed it what with the super six being on showtime
he would had ko'ed Green and AA and would had won via points vs out of shape Kessler he would probaly have all fights at home in Montreal so I would favor him over Froch too
I think Froch and Bute will be even money based on styles. Froch have the right style for Bute. Ward is a style nightmare for everyone.
Personally, I believe that he would have been KO'ed by AA, or Froch, or possibly Taylor. He would have lost by points to Kessler, Dirrell and Ward. Bute never wanted anything to do with the Super 6. It would have meant an early exposure and the lost of the big payday they are anticipating.
