Hopkins lost 9 rounds to 3 clearly, all he did was foul, fake low blows and hold most of the fight!:rofl

And Calzaghe barehumped him from behind.:hi:

Though I think Cotto's win was much easier to score than
calzaghe's win. The difference in my scorecards would have been similar. 1or2 points.

 

I thought Cotto won and I know Hopkins really won.
Does that make me just half an idiot? Or, do you need to pass both standards to get into the idiots club? And, does membership come with any fringe benefits; like do I get a discount at Denny's for being an idiot.

Yep, Cotto by 1 point. Calzaghe by two or three points. Clottey did a very convincing imitation of Hopkins last night, feigning injury to gain time to rest. The difference between the Calzaghe v Hopkins fight and the Cotto v Clottey fight is that Hopkins emptied his bag of tricks by mid-fight and couldn't come up with something to counter Calzaghe's output. Clottey simply dropped the ball. It was his fight to win and he blew it.
