I cant see this happening..I just want to hear how you envision the fight happening and what exactly Hatton will do to Pacman? and dont say just pressure him. What punches will he use? etc..

Or if you think pac will win explain why. Which should be easy since its obvious Pacman is going to win. Honestly who are we kidding.. Hatton is going to lose.. lol

Hatton is not a washed up De La Hoya, period.

You are delusional if you think that "Dream" fight ment something!

Theres only one Ricky Hatton...............One Ricky Hatton!!!!!

I bet you thought that Margo would beat Mosely too. LOL

Hattons only chance is to get in close and wrestle Pacquiao and stay in close.

Hatton has a good chance because he is being unfairly under rated.

I think people concentrate too much on Hattons loss to Floyd and Pacs win over Oscar.

Hatton wasn't doing well against Floyd in the later stages because he was being frustrated by a boxer who was physically stronger. That won't be the case here.

I also think Hatton hits harder than anybody Pac has fought, but not the other way round. I would argue Urango hits harder than Pac, yet Urango didn't trouble Hatton. We saw against Malignaggi that Hatton can box a boxer, and it was Malignaggi who resorted to trying to grab the opponent because Hatton was too strong. Now obviously Pac is stronger than Paulie, but Hatton handled Paulie so easily that I doubt Pac has the power to make Hatton recoil.

Too many people around here think that Pac is going to jab Ricky all night, waiting for Ricky to move forward and then move aside, smacking Ricky with straights, crosses and hooks and that Ricky apparently lacks the skill to even catch Pac. I think both fighters will stand ground and sometimes give way in order to try and pick off the guy moving forward.

But who knows what game plan Pac will choose? Roach says Pac should fight smart to win easily. But plans always look good on paper when you assume that the other guy is just going to run into your punches.

    I think Hatton close UD.

He's miles ahead of Pac in punching power and ring smarts, he's just an all around stronger and better boxer.

I think Hattons speed will trouble Pac. THe first half of the PBF fight he had no trouble actually closing the distance. That and the fact hatton will be the first prime 140lber he's fought make it an interesting fight for me

Strong points, couldn't agree with you more. Hatton looked much improved in his last fight and is only going to get better with Mayweather in his corner. Pac doesn't box well enough IMO to make it a easy night.

    Another Hatton close UD here.

I think too many people read too much in to Pac's win against a weight drained, dehydrated DLH.

Hatton is a more intelligent fighter than people think, he will come in throwing and pushing Pac back and will tie him up and use his superior strength to wear Pac down and throw shots to the body.

The last 4 of Pacs fights have been all smoke and mirrors, and they certainly flatter to deceive.

An overcooked and just about done Barrera
    A gimme against JMM
David Diaz, the worst lightweight titleist in many a year
And a shuffling, zombie-like shell of his former self Oscar

If anyone thinks that Pacs last 18 months is a bellwether or indicator of how the Hatton fight will go then they are in for quite a let down. Unlike Oscar Hatton will actually move and throw back, and those shots will harder than anything that Pac has ever experienced. If anyone wins this fight "easily" it will be Hatton, brutally and early - If Pac wins it will be by UD and after the fight of his life.

When your only fights above 130 are being able to take you time and tee of against a drained Oscar and a stationary Diaz doesn't mean you will be able to do the same against Hatton.

There are big questions for both boxers in this fight, thats why its a great fight!!

rickys gotta make use his strength & make the fight as rough as possible. hopefully floyd sr could help the hitman engage with more movement & setting up his attack with the jab as opposed to a straight face-first bum rush. ricky doesnt need to reinvent himself to beat manny. its gonna take more will than skill.

its inevitable that pacs gonna land 1st 90% of the time esp with his straight left. but in the process of taking 1-2 ricky needs wrap him up & unload his bombs when inside & off clinches.

Hattons got a shot because Pacquaio hasnt been hit in a year and it was by a 130 LB. when Hatton hits Pacquaio hes gonna feel it like no other.

The reasons i think that ricky has mannys number is as follows:

Hatton is an animal at 140. nobody can beat this man at 140 IMO.

Pacquiao is a virgin to this division.

Pacquiao has proven not alot to me at least above 130lb.

The pacman has been beaten 3 times, i repeat 3 times. thats alot.

Hatton has only been beaten once, and that was to the best, and not in his natural division.

Hatton is gonna pulverize the pacmans "lady body"!

The pacmans speed will become irrelevant as hattons body punchs kill this little man!

Not as if Hatton is slow is it!!!!!!!

Controversial opinion i am well aware, but thats my opinion non the less.
