If you think Hatton will beat Pacman tell me why

hatton may have fought harder punchers than pac but has he fought a fighter with the speed and relentlessness as pac, or even as good as pac.

personally i dont think hatton has better speed than marquez. marquez is an accurate puncher, reason why he gave pac problems. hatton is not as accurate.

the question is hatton ganna land consistently enough or trap him to stop the pac assault. i could be wrong but personally i think pac will be to smart and quick for hatton.

Manny has been stopped by body shots by much smaller fighters with much less power than Hatton. Hatton is one of the best body punchers in the business... think before you speak/type

Artofwar.. i'll give you that... the relentless part anyway... as for as good as or as fast, I think Floyd ticks both those boxes... FMJ is faster, cuter, best defence in the business and a much better boxer all round than Pac.

Hatton is an accurate puncher and deceptively fast... that's what i'm saying. Marquez doesn't have very fast hands he is a good counter puncher but he hasn't got quick hands... Hatton has, ask anyone that has fought him.

Plus this myth than Manny can evade Hatton all night with speed of foot is a load of tripe... Hatton cuts the ring off better than ANYBODY.

Please don't get me wrong i am not a Hatton fan i am a boxing fan and i love watching Pacman but the way you lot go on boils my **** because you go on like Hatton is a slow plodding ***** punching slugger like David Diaz which couldn't be further from the truth and make out like Pac is invincible which is far from the truth... tbh whilst i like Pac i don't think he should be p4p No1.. i think B-Hop should... Marquez - past prime and imo and many others deserved both decisions

Same can be said for Hattons biggest fights but i am stating the point that Manny isn't as good as manny would like to think... people talk him up to be better than he is because they enjoy watching him.

For the record i think Manny will win a close UD because Hatton has always struggled with southpaws but i am just making a case that a lot of you are either underestimating Hatton or got your heads so far up pacmans arse you can't see what's in front of you

sdsfinest22... you may not like it mate but those are the rules of boxing (it is clearly stated in the rule book) If a fighters boots are untied during a fight the fighter must go back to the corner and have his/her boots tied as it is dangerous for both boxers, same as having lose tape.... They are the world wide rules not just britains. Next you will suggest Billy Graham untied them or the ref did it when no-one was looking. Hatton was on ***** street late in that fight but Hatton went into that fight suffering with a cold (it is actually documented that he had to take all of the flu medication he had been taking to his pre fight medical to make sure their were no steroids in the medicines) and hadn't trained properly... Billy Graham said a couple of months ago (after the falling out) that he wanted Ricky to pull out of that fight

 

for a moment i thought you were not being biased and actually thinking the fight logically but then you gave excuse against pacs biggest wins which makes me think you are biased and dont rate pacs achievments. you dont even think he is p4p 1. you are realy underestimating pac.

a fighter that started at flyweight and fought as high as welterweight has to be special. we are not underestimating hatton its just he is coming up against an all time great. pac has shown over and over his greatness, i dont see hatton being the person to stop him.

 

They can be the rules...but if this fight was in the USA than he wouldn't have gotten that gift time to recover..Hatton lost and IMO opinion isnt the same fighter he was before..PAC WILL BE TO QUICK, TO SKILLED, AND TO FOCUSED COME FIGHT TIME...

I like both guys a lot and think the fight could go either way. If Hatton does win it will be because:

1. He is naturally bigger and stronger than Manny (see Penn v. GSP)
2. Unlike Oscar, he won't be drained and dehydrated by making the weight.
3. Mayweather Sr. will have helped Ricky tighten up his defense.
4. The ref let's the fighters fight on the inside (unlike Cortez did with the PBF-Haton fight).

In other words, it will look a lot like the Hatton-Tszyu fight if Ricky wins.

 

No, Hatton was already recovered (and wasn't that hurt anyway) when the ref stoped the fight for a few seconds so Ricky could tie his shoe (which was clearly untied).
