Some of you seem to not realize how special Pacquiao is either.. even if its a tough fight for pacman theres no way i can envision hatton winning. its obvious pacman is the favorite and he should be to the people that really know boxing
I'm in danger of repeating myself with every post I make, but I can't believe there's people here who've said that Kostya Tszyu was as shot as Oscar De La Hoya? Are they ****ing REAL? Lets look at this RATIONALLY people. De La Hoya has looked slow and shot for years, the only reason he was still in contention for anything is because he is a big name with his own promotional company. Just like Holyfield get title shots aged 44 coz Russians will have heard of him and buy the PPV, De La Hoya got fights against Mayweather, Hopkins and Pacman coz it would sell, not coz he's got anything left as a fighter. He got outboxed by Shane Mosley, again, in 2003. He was already past his best in the Mosley fight, but he made it close enough to dignified. Ever since he's been absolutely ****. Felix Sturm beat him, easily, then got robbed by Oscar.inc. Bernard Hopkins battered him well and truly, kicked his arse all night and finished him with a bodyshot, leaving Oscar crying on the ****ing canvas. Floyd Mayweather made Oscar look slow and old, despite being 2 weight divisions smaller than Oscar. ****, even little Stevie Forbes had his moments againts Oscar, a fight where Oscar looked a complete shadow of his former self and slow as drying paint. Manny Pac beat a guy who's best performance in the last 6 years has been against Ricardo Mayorga, not exactly a master boxer. Every other fight he's had since Fernando Vargas was back in 2002 he's looked old and slow! Since Vargas all that time ago, when he was not shot I believe, he's gone 5-4, and his wins aren't against top quality opponents - Mayorga, Sturm, Campas, and Forbes aren't the P4P elite. Kostya Tsyzu on the other hand had looked absolutely vicious. After the Mitchell and Leija fights he looked like a guy who was in the absolutely peak of his career. He blew away two tough contenders, both in under 6 rounds, and had since the Zab Judah fight been regarded a top 5 P4P fighter. Where was De La Hoya P4P when Manny got his hands on him? ****ing nowhere, apart from maybe The Ring (owner; De La Hoya) but no-one here thought that De La Hoya was top10 after the Forbes fight. Oscar De La Hoya was PAINFULLY shot, fighting at a stupid weight, against an incredibly fast former-flyweight who buzzed around him, landing at will, all night long. Pac beat Oscar up, but Oscar barely had anything to hit Pac with. People should get over the Oscar De La Hoya performance; It was good, and it shocked a lot of people because some people were picking Oscar, but thinking about it now De La Hoya has been on the skids for years. Ricky Hatton is not shot. He is not slow, or old, or incapable of moving his feet. Infact, he's one of the best guys in the world at closing the gap and getting close to man, putting them on the backfoot. Pac doesn't fight well off the backfoot, he likes room to put his punches together. Hatton could well dominate the lighter, defensively unproven former-flyweight, It wouldn't suprise me one bit.
What fight were you watching??:rofl:rofl:rofl Ricky was hurt and like I said IF THE FIGHT WAS IN THE USA RICKY WOULDA BEEN KO'D!!!:bbb:bbb :deal
