Actually DeGale has a lot of class about him. He's always got time for his fans, or fans in general who approach him for an autograph or a pic and a lot of members on here will agree. Each Warren bill I've been to he's been mixing with the crowd signing, posing and chatting.
He's putting on his act to wind Groves up and it's working. I honestly don't believe DeGale is a big a twat irl as he acts on camera.

 

If that's the case then fair enough and I don't mind him selling the fight in a way. It's just the sheer dim wittedness that he displays when trying to do it which grates a little. I don't know the guy, maybe he is a good bloke, but you can only go on what you see on T.V. He was saying that he watches himself acting the twat in interviews and laughs, but what he's doing isn't particularly funny or cleveratsch. Inarticulate insults where he constantly stumbles over his own words just make him look like a pleb. He'll probably beat Groves handily but I hope 'Ugly Kid' gives him a good spanking.

 

He might just be laughing at himself :conf TBH as a young guy myself I could understand that. I'd watch myself and think it's pretty funny that I'm on national TV using the most childish insults and they guy I'm insulting is actually getting pissed off.
I can see your point though mate. The only difference between you and me then is I've seen James outside of the ring and off camera and he's sound as ****.

 

He's an arsehole. And a terrible trash talker. Some can trash talk and some only people think they can. So yes, I think he's a helmet. A very promising helmet though.

 

He just comes across as being very thick and inarticulate. Very talented boxer though.
