If you think Mayweather deserves more than 50-50 vs Pac, explain why.

It's simple and easy his ppv buys vs fighters like Baldimor did way better then Pacquiao vs Diaz ( both were from hbo ppvs)

De la hoya vs Mayweather ppv buys did better then De la hoya vs Pacquiao ppv buys.

Mayweather Vs Hatton did way better ppv buys then Pacquiao vs Hatton.

Mayweather gets pay more money fighting those last 3 fighters then Pacquiao got in his last 3 fights.

Yes many thought Oscar would destroyed Pacquiao while many thought Oscar got a chance vs Mayweather but Many thought Mayweather would easily beat Hatton while many were flip flop of who would win in Pacquiao vs Hatton and many consider Pacquiao vs Hatton a fight of the year canidate but Mayweather vs Hatton still did better ppv buys then Pacquiao vs Hatton.

I know many dummies will make excuses of why Mayweather last 3 fights did way better ppv buys then Pacquiao last 3 fights.

^^^^Those are clear facts. I don't care Manny is an exciting fighter in which Mayweather isn't but if that exciting fighter can't do better ppv buys, can't get more money then that fighter who is not an exciting fighter then that exciting fighter (Pacquiao) should get 40 percent of the purse.

If Mayweather vs Marquez ppv buys were around 500k or 450k, wouldn't you *******s agree 60/40 is easily fair in Mayweather favor vs Pacquiao?

I think the potential magnitude of this fight warrants a 50-50 split.

I think he deserves a 90 - 10 split for his interviews with Brian Kenny. The clapping sealed it for me.

Yes 50/50 is ACCEPTABLE and REASONABLE.

He was the former P4P #1 fighting the current #1. They both have good number of followers . . .

. . . but if PBF keeps saying that it's Pac who doesn't deserve 50/50

    . . . then **** HIM . . . he can go back to retirement.

This fight has 50/50 all over it....BEFORE the fight with Cotto. I dont know about after...

Problem with 50/50 is that both fighters think they should get more, Arum saying the fight would be 50/50 is like Arum saying that Pac vs hatton would be 50/50 only to have Pac want more, just as he has said about the fight with Floyd. floyd wants more. I dont think that either guy will move off of their stance and we will not get a fight, even though if the fight with Cotto does happen Im not sure that it will be the fight that we want anyways....

Floyd vs Shane is the fight I want to see:good

I actually thought that the suggestion someone made in another thread, that they should both get 40% with the winner getting the remaining 20%, was a good idea.

There are alot of suggestions like that before in cases where there's a purse cut dispute but nothing has materialized . . . fighters and their camps are talking of "guaranteed amount" win or lose.

Why dont they just do 30/30 and winner takes the other 40%. I wish these types of deals were more common because it would motivate the fighters more to win.

1.)DH vs Gayweather did better than Pacman vs DH. True, Pacquiao vs DH didn't do much because of the ressesion. It's the same with Hatton.
2.) Gayweather isn't the real reason why his fight against Hatton and Oscar did well. Pacquiao has more fan base (that buys ppv) than Mayweather.
3.) JMM/Gayweather tickets are not selling well. Pac/Hatton's $300 - $500 ticket (correct me if I'm wrong for the pricing of tickets) were sold out in a week.
50-50 is fair or 60/40 in favor in Pac.

That's a good idea but it's not like prize boxers like Pac and FM will agree to that. They have too much pride.
