If Golden Boy see that GGG is doing decent PPV numbers in the US than they will realize that that is the biggest money fight out there for them other than May or Pac. They would realize it wouldn't be Canelo carrying the PPV like he was for Smith and only doing 300,000 buys. So quit crying about it not being 'ppv worthy' and support it so we can get the Canelo-Golovkin made and GGG can move up to super middle/light-heavy already. Its only what $50 or $55? You can't scrape that up in 3 months to invest in a fight you want to see? If you don't buy this fight you have no right to complain about the fight not getting made.

It down matter what amount of buys it does. Canelo is rightfully the A side fighter and GGG has to accept that.

Sorry but I am not buying GGG-Jacobs because it isn't PPV worthy just like I didn't buy Canelo-Smith PPV. Canelo did 250k PPV's not 300k.

Yea I know that I'm not saying give him A side money. I'm saying if Golden Boy sees GGG doing PPV numbers they will realize that is the fight that has to get made. Is anyone in the US doing PPV's between Super-Welter and Super-Middle? It doesn't matter if his fight only does 150,000 he's still got people that are willing to pay to see him fight.

I didn't buy Canelo-Smith either. If you don't buy this though, then you have no right to complain about the fight not getting made in my eyes. And I'm a Kovalev and Ward fan too. That was probably my most anticipated fight of the past couple years honestly.

Since when did Boxing fans become a charity? It isn't up to me or any other fan for the GGG-Canelo fight to be made. GGG was the Mandatory and Canelo ran and dropped his belt. The fans had nothing to do with that. Period. Blame lies with Oscar and Canelo. Fight should have already happened.

I am going to buy it because contrary to popular belief, I think that it's an excellent fight. Plus there is no guarantee than GGG is gonna win. Canelo might have to set his sights on Jacobs and to be honest, if Jr. comes prepared, he might be the one on the losing end.

Well I don't think Golovkin or Canelo would ever fight anybody if there were no fans with money involved. Paying for a fight isn't really charity either. Its a part of prize fighting that you love to watch. I agree that was a whole mess with the belt but I believe that Canelo will be forced to fight him eventually due to fan backlash and his lowering PPV sales.

N I'm not trying to sell Golovkin-Jacobs as some great fight or anything. I'm just saying this is another PPV opportunity for Golovkin to see where he's at and if you want the Canelo fight then show your support. If you don't care about the Canelo fight getting made then don't buy it OBVIOUSLY. Somebody replied in here that he doesn't care if the Canelo-Golovkin fight gets made so he won't be buying this fight. That's fine! He's probably not one of the people crying about the fight not getting made.

Again your making it seem like I'm saying this is gonna be a great fight so buy it. All I'm saying is that if you are one of the people who want the Canelo-Golovkin fight so bad then show support. I'm sick of people crying about the fight not getting made and being the same people not helping to make the fight.

The opposite is true: the fewer PPV sales this fight makes, the more GGG's team will want to cut a deal with GBP in the knowledge their man can't sell big without a good dance partner.

I'd buy it if it meant he had to face CEJ, Degale or Ward but to fight little Canelo is a farce.

Canelo is 3.5 inches shorter and atleast 5-10lbs lighter size matters

GGG will give up a little height against the others and a little weight against Watd
