If you was Khan's manager would you have accepted the fight against The Special One?

I've followed Frankie for a while as I do with all British fighters. He has talent but he's never worked hard so I have no reason to believe he will dedicate himself at 29. I do believe we'll see the best version of Frankie we ever have when he gets in with Brook because he'd be insane not to set his mind to this opportunity, but can he maintain it if he loses?

Either way, I disagree that even a fully focused Frankie is more of a challenge than Porter. You can train for a Frankie Gavin, I don't know what you do to train for a Shawn Porter short of letting a charging rhinoceros loose in your training camp, that man is freakishly strong and well conditioned and just all around makes things miserable for his opponents.

    Abregu? :lol::lol:

Gavin has beaten better opposition than that...that haven't been on HBO so you probably don't know of them.

And no you haven't been watching these guys longer than me, that I know for sure because I occasionally watch fights that aren't on American TV.

And put it this way, you say Thurman beats Brook.

Bundu only squeaked by Gavin by SD.

So why is Bundu an acceptable opponent for Thurman, but not Gavin for Brook. Where was you criticizing the much-better-than-Brook Thurman for fighting the-only-slightly-better-than-Gavin Bundu. :think

Yeah, but Brook isn't a weakling welterweight like Paulie and Alexander, he had the strength advantage on Porter and the advantage in every other field , which is why I confidently picked Brook to school him and that he did.

Sure, whatever you think. I know for a fact that I've watched Keith much longer than you, but if you want to believe in your deluded mind that I haven't, like you thought I had a pen pal in Japan to skype wiht you, then sure.

Gavin has only beat a bunch of euro bums, everyone knows this fight is a joke but you. ONly you and some brit****s are defending this fight.

Also I did criticize Thurman for fighting Bundu, but guess what Thurman wasn't coming off fighting Jo Jo fking Dan, and Bundu beat Gavin. He BEAT Gavin, can you not get that through your tiny little brain?

Once again ellerbe the alt doesn't understand that Brook will be stripped of his title if he doesn't fight his mandatories and he's getting them out of the way now to give himself two voluntaries by the end of the year rather than fighting one then having to fight Gavin anyway.

No Thurman was not coming off Jo Jo Dan 60 days prior. He was coming of that prime ATG Julio Diaz 8 months prior (who wasn't a mando)... then jesus Soto karass 4 months prior to that.

You say Brook should fight a guy like Ali who's no more proven than Dan but if Brook mopped the floor with him in a similar manner, would Ali also be a bum? (and for the record Brook beats him easier than Dan, but as we know Dan hasn't been on HBO so you have decided he is a bum)

Yes, I know Bundu beat Gavin, but if Thurman is so much better than Brook as you say then the difference in ability between Brook and Gavin, shouldn't be a wide as Thurman Bundu.... But that's an acceptable fight to you.

Why don't you just admit Brook hurt you personally when he exposed your lack of boxing knowledge so he can do no right.

Porter would whoop Gavin. But I agree that Brook beats Thurman

Doubt it. Especially with Porter's soul on a mantle piece in Sheffield.

The only difference between the Porter than should've lost to Diaz and the one since is Victor Conte's PEDS

yeh, think khan will win a wide points decision too, whats why I wanted the fight. If khan wins he's got lets too offer mayweather, mandatory for wbc + ibf belt holder. Think a 70K crowd at Wembley will convince Floyd there's money in the fight too.

As it stands he's fighting algeiri, which won't get much interest in terms of TV viewers, the fact showtime turned it down will make Floyd think there's no money in the fight.

Floyd says his last fight is September, which will khan can't make due to Ramadan anyway? (not sure how long it'll take him to get in shape after a 30day fast**)

    No

Thats a tough fight thats always there

I'd wait a bit longer to see if the Mayweather fight could happen and put him against Broner in the mean time

Iv said the same thing many times on here and other forums.

My prediction was Thurman sparks Khan out clean if they meet which they wont, Brook in a very tough fight outpoints Thurman with Thurman wobbling him, and Iv thought that Khan outpoints Kell (though this has changed) at first i wasnt sure if Brook has the bang to spark him if not Khan wins by points very comfortably however with the ducking of Brook u have to think twice maybe Brook does spark him out.

Khan can forget the Mayweather fight aint gonna happen Mayweather wont touch him not worth the risk at all especially if Mayweather wins on sat, Pacman is different tho he would fight Khan i reckon regaardless of the result on sat.

Brook and Khan should have got it on this year and rematch next year (or whatever year one of them holds a title if they still do)

I'd pursue Broner. On paper, it's an easy win against a big name opponent. I'd milk Khan as much as I can before signing to Brook.

Naw now way, fight suits brook down to the ground at the moment and its a bad bad time for khan. A loss would be devastaing im delighted hes taking in algeiri, he will stop him easy.
