If I was going into boxing promotion I would look to take over a two weight divisions one after another (147 and 154 for example) to give the fighters plenty of opponents just incase they end up not being able to co-host an event effectively. Also by controlling two weight classes the fighters in the other promoters stables in this weight class would have to come to fight your fighters, by doing them a favour you get a favour in a weight class you don't have a stranglehold over.
Maybe try and go after some talented fighters who aren't being treated well by their promoter, can't get big fights despite being fun to watch, or don't get a lot of recognition because they fight in a lower weight class. Rigondeaux Moreno Golovkin Lara R. Gonzalez Pirog Fortuna Allakhverdiev Maybe Campillo and Geale too? I'm sure Groves made a few fans last night, he could try and take care of him and Kell Brook when they fight in the US again.
if I were 50 cent and wanted my promotional outfit to do well I wouldnt sit back and just sign a bunch of fighters I would get things going, start getting the matchmaking done have Floyd top the card, and see how the numbers look. No need to sign a gang of fighters if the company itself doesnt do well
Bogere. Have a remix of "The Lion Sleeps Tonight" as an entrance song. Win or lose Bogere with his wacky entrances should be popular by now.
