If you were a boxer who would sign with? Haymon? Top rank? Golden boy?

What promotion company in this day in age would be the best career move?

If based in the UK it is undoubtably Eddie Hearn. No question at all.

    Goldenboy Promotions.

Oscar has a lot of pull because he is beloved and respected. A fighter can go far with him.

Depends who you are, would I be a top guy like Canelo/Golovkin, or B-level like Guerrero? If B-level, then Haymon as he overpays fighters.

If i'm a top guy, then Oscar, as I could build my star power from Canelo Alvarez's undercards.

If I was a highly-rated prospect, I'd sign with a more independant promoter because they're less likely to have a major feud with another promotion. You could make fights with GBP and Top Rank and you could negotiate with multiple networks. You wouldn't be frozen out and denied a fight against another contender because Oscar and Bob don't like each other.

Less money in the short-term, more money (and opportunity) in the long-run.

How is Hearn as a promoter? Wonder if any american fighters would sign with him just because he might be good?

Recognise a real Don, When you see one.

Don King fighters get paid. Maybe half of what was promised but 50% of a big purse is better than 100% of high school gym size fights you get when your signed to some broke,french-canadian country hick.
Also, You know if you go to the cards, at least 1 judge is on the team:campeon:

Signing with Haymon seems risky at this point in time...

If I were a top prospect, I'd sign with Matchroom or Top Rank.

If I were a B-level guy, then I'd probably go with Haymon on Matchroom again.

Golden Boy promotions. Just because they're more willing to work with other promoters, and I'd have full confidence I wouldn't be on the shelf, when my time came at being at the top of the sport.

Germany is the closest big boxing nation to me geographically so I'd go with Sauerland. I would fight in Europe as I would never be the A-side in the USA due to not being American/Mexican/Rican. I already speak German so no problem for me to blend in. They can even give me some German name, I don't care as long as the judges get my fights right. I'd fight at cruiserweight so they'd feed me some of their aging big name guys then I would call out Usyk to fight somewhere in Dusseldorf or Stuttgart and rob him blind.

    Badly

To clarify, I think this would only work if you were a can't-miss prospect who the public and the networks were interested in and you had a built-in fan base. For the other 99%, you have to choose GBP/Top Rank etc and take your chances.
