If you were a boxer, would you be a trashtalker or the strong silent type?

    Specifically in press interviews and pre-match conferences, what would you aim or like to come across as?

    Trashtalking loudmouth whose purpose is to solely putdown the opponent (Toney, Ali)

    Misplaced confidence (Audley)

    Rambling Philosopher who spouts a lot of interesting irrelevancies (Eubank)

    Sly digster who enjoys making cutting references (Froch)

    Comeback king with the best one liner replies (RJJ) - would be great to see this type square off with a sly digster.

    Gentleman who is always polite, sweet and low key (Valuev)

    Strong Silent type who says little (Pacman)


    I would probably opt to be a strong silent type, it has an aura about it, and requires the least brain power lol perfect for me.

    I would prefer the loudmouth type due to the attention, but realistically I would be Sly digster/Gentleman, Bit Like cotto and a bit of trash talk, If I say so myself am far smarter and articulate than the likes of Froch. I wouldn't instigate the trash talking but if someone else started it, I would finish it.

    I would talk all kinds of ****.

    Chael Sonnen in the UFC is my idol when it comes to talking trash.

    Far easier to make money that way.

    **** talker of course nothing wrong with marketing yourself. Not to mention if you're good you will be a draw people will either line up to see you win or line up to see you get knocked out.

    Probably more towards Carl Froch than anyone else.

    Carl Froch is probably the wittiest lad around today in the boxing game.

    I would try to garner as much attention as possible, therefor pushing the interest in my fights to ultra high levels. This would be accomplished by portraying myself as either a flaming homosexual, or a non-apologetic white supremest. People would pay huge money hoping to see me get my ass kicked! Of course, once I was brutally beaten, people would lose total interest in watching me fight, but no plan is perfect. His some possible ring walk attire...

    Being Filipino Canadian, I would probably want to be a trash talker, but wind up being polite as hell, apologizing to people after knocking them out, and praising my camp who rides my fame recklessly.
