If you were a British Promoter, how would you create your own night of boxing.

If you could put on a promotion what fights whould you make? Using a british fighter atleast in each bout what would you create? You can use only active boxers to create your fights. What would your 10 card promotion consist of.

    Rules:

You can have four bouts scheduled for 12 rounds (World Title Fights/British/EBU etc)
    Two 10 Round bouts
Three 6 to 8 round bouts
And 1 Novice 4 Round bout.

And where would you host it.

    :good:good:good:good:good

Do you have to take into account promotional ties - i.e. Khan, Cook etc to the WBO, Froch to Hennessy etc??

    If not..........

    Wembley Stadium June 2009

    Hatton vs Pacquiao
    Froch vs Kessler

    Haye vs JC Gomez
    Witter vs Diaz

    Appleby vs Bautista
    Khan vs Valero
Jeff Thomas vs Lee McAllister II

I'm assuming you have an unlimited budget?

    12 Rounders:
    David Haye v Wlad Klitschko
    Ricky Hatton v Manny Pacquiao
    Carl Froch v Mikkel Kessler
    Jamie Moore v Ryan Rhodes

    10 Rounders:
    Junior Witter v Ajose Olusegun
    Ian Napa v Eric Morel
    (two world title eliminators)

8 round bouts (no 6 rounders)
    Craig McEwan v Alfredo Angulo
    Gary Sykes v Carl Johanneson
    Michael Gomez v Kevin Mitchell

    4 round bout
Billy Joe Saunders v TBA :D

My four 12 rounders would be:

Haye v Vitali - It's the biggest heavyweight bout out there at the moment

Froch v Calzaghe - I'm from Nottingham so I would like to see Froch get his chance

Hatton v Witter - I love fights where both fighters proper hate each other

Khan v Katsidis - Katsidis would end Khan's career in brutal fashion.

Great idea for a thread by the way. I shall be adding a few if I can think of good fights.

    Firstly an Irish bill.

Bernard Dunne vs Rendall Munroe (European super Bantam belt).

Matthew Macklin vs Andy Lee (Euro middle belt eliminator).

Jamie Moore vs John Duddy (Euro 154 belt).

Paul McCloskey vs Junior Witter (Brit 140 belt)

    10 rounder.

    Andrew Murray vs Osain ***.

    Martin Rogan vs Colin Kenna.

    8 rounder.

    Kevin O'Hara vs Buster Dennis.

    6 rounder.

    Ciaran Healey vs Lee Murtagh.

    4 rounder.

    Darren Sutherland vs Vepkhis Tchilia

I'm not really arsed about 10 or less rounders. 12 round boxing is where its at, I even advocate going back to 15. If I had to I'd put the Olympians on there against a few cans, just to see them in action. Maybe Tyson Fury too, guy looks a prospect.

Haye vs. Wladimir - Vitali is better, but we need some sort of interest not the inevitable feeling Haye will be crushed like a beetle.

Calzaghe vs. Dawson - Youth vs experience, lots of speed and a clash of styles. Interesting fight, one of the biggest in boxing.

Froch vs. Kessler - Froch gets whooped, but I can't really think of a bigger fight at 168 for Froch. It would showcase Kessler perfectly :happy

Maccarinelli vs. Adamek - Competetive fight.

No boring ass Hatton on my dream card out of prinicipal, even if he makes me a stack of money.
