a world champion, and had to face a challenger you know you can't beat and you know he can hurt you badly...what would you do? I mean not had to face him like he is your mandatory but if you don't fight him you will get a load of critics.... What would you do? Fight him, duck him, retire or other options?
Does any champion think that they can't beat anyone? If they did they wouldn't get to that level I think they take the path of least resistance though.
No fighter goes into a fight w/ the mindset of getting beat and I know for sure if they're a champion the isn't a thought of never being able to beat a guy.
Usually in these situations the fighter gives it a go in the early rounds before realizing he's beat and either: -protects himself to last the distance -lays down after the first significant punch -finds a way to get DQ'd
As a champion you fight ... no matter what ... you can't go out like that -- You give it your all and as a warrior you go out on your shield --
Get a trainer that could improve my skills to beat him, and a tactical coach who knew how I could beat him, thus letting a game plan emerge. I still might not win, but I have just improved my chances greatly. Rather die standing up, than live on my knees.
Watch Rocky III over and over again especially that scene with Rocky and Adrian talking on the beach, until I got the message.
