EXACTLY. take all comers and give it your all. go down doing your best. thats why i love morales. wasnt scared of nobody and gave it his all every fight.
They could have pussied out of a fight with Manny Pacquiao and acted like he was a nobody. They could have said, "Who have you fought? Who knows Manny Pacquiao? What does Manny Pacquiao bring to the table?" But they didn't, they had the respect and dignity to give this man a shot, especially Barrera who took him on like that, and as well as to Morales coming off a loss to Barrera past his prime Psychologically just as much as physically to actually BEAT the man in an all out war. To them two guys that **** is how boxing is supposed to be, it was like a rite of passage, Either you beat the young gun and became great or you fought your heart out and just passed the torch to the new blood.:good
1. Castillejo did that against De La Hoya (protects himself to last the distance) 2. De La Hoya seemed to lay down after the first sig punch against Hopkins 3. Never heard of someone getting DQ'd--would that mean if the champ was dq'd, he loses his title?
Come up with a stratagy that gives me the best chance. I would probbly hit and hold hoping that as champion the judges would give me the close rounds.
Or another way is to take your mandatory defenses and beat that challenger in a few years when time has made him a bit softer...Don't know if it will work but it is an idea.
Great points but Barrera just made sure he survived the rematch with Pac while El Terible went out on his shield. I give Barrera his props (even though I can't stand him) but he'll never be the warrior Morales is.
I will cherry pick my opponents lol so that i will stay undefeated, i will fight shot fighters and bums
Go out and fight!...just make sure i get paid with what i want or its no deal. i'll retire undefeated instead. You want a piece of me?! show me the money! sucka!
