and had the opportunity to fight Juan Diaz in Houston, would you?

I mean, after the ****in' bull**** that occured tonight?

GBP have their ****in' hands in everything and the sport is goin' to ****.

And we wonder why the MMA is collecting such a large fan base.

Id go try to beat him clearly.

It was a close fight, and those go to the hometown guy.

I would go fight Juan with the intention and plan to win the fight going away, like a fighter with no power knew he would have to. And he didn't.

Well, what do you mean I'm a highly ranked Pro fighter? Am I undefeated? Am I a journeyman fighter? Am I a very good fighter? (basically like Paulie) what have been my last fights? How much money did I make in those fights? Am I a power puncher? Am I a speedster? etc.

I'll just try and put myself in Paulie's shoes. He had a big pay day against Hatton. This was another big pay day and I don't know if he had any other big paydays lined up other than Diaz and based on his interviews I guess he didn't. So, I would still take the fight because I think he got 500,000 K for the fight which a very good chunck of money along with some incentives. So, I would take the fight and fight it just about how Paulie fought. My trunks wouldn't have been falling and I would have moved a bit more, but if you are in Paulie's shoes that's about all you could have done.

If I was Paulie I wouldn't have because he isn't a big puncher. Props to him for actually going through with this fight with the whole deck stacked against him. Most of us knew he wasn't going to KO Diaz, but the name of the game is boxing and he outboxed Diaz in this fight.

like kellerman said tonight....they picked malignaggi precisley for this reason, they thought paulie would be a walk in the park, and he had no KO power....well guess again motha****as

and just in case paulie might box his sox off....they had these ******* judges as a backup plan......paulie was never going to win this fight unless he KO'd diaz.....

IMO i thought malignaggi outboxed diaz better then marquez did, just marquez had the power to finish the job....marquez was in trouble against diaz....paulie was rarely bothered by diaz....

being a puncher id take the fight ,since diaz was knocked out in his previous fight, and the decision was not a robbery anyways, the judges scoring was the problem. But i get the feeling paulie will get another big fight again, cause he did look good in avery close fight,he got paid good to and he wouldnt have got paid like that against anyone else .Also him and his management knew the chances of him knocking out diaz were slim,so they knew that going in,not that that excuses that 118-110 score.
