there seems to be so many people promoting these days. You have the same old ones plus now fighters are getting in on the action. My hyperthetical question is if you were a top level fighter, which promotional outfit would you join. Obviously money is the major factor but not the only one. My answers are, if i was american then bob arum and if a brit then frank warren. What do you guys think

Golden Boy Promotions. I get all the big fights, and get to hang out with the likes of Mosley, Hoya, Hopkins, and Marquez too boot. That's a good time. :good

Gawd. Oscar will sign you up and the next thing you know, you are at GBP Headquarters, at 5:30 am on Monday morning, and Bernard hands you a package, and in it is a janitor's outfit and some work gloves. "You an Suga an hid Daddy Jack have de Janitor duties today. You mops de flos, on de first 6 levels, and den we needs to throw de trash" Have yo'sef some hardtack an' molasses fo de work whistle go off"

Bob Arum.. Definitely a promotor who could make you a big name and get you some big fights on the likes of HBO or PPV..

Depends on what kind of fighter i want to become.

If i want to be a cherry-picking fighter that gains much name recognition. I'll go with GBP.

If I want to be a fighter that fights top comp up until I get my ass handed to me. I'll go with Arum.

If I want to be the baddest mutha ****a that ever laced up a pair of gloves win, lose or draw...I'll promote my ****in' self! :smoke

I would just be a free agent and only do co promoting on certain fights, these promoters never want to unify.

Probably GoldenBoy. Don King and Bob Arum are getting old and GoldenBoy is signing the top guys. There's also potential to get into the promotional business once you retire as a fighter. Hard to beat that.

I think I will go with Bob Arum because he would get you the fight you want. He knows how to build his fighters well and he tries to do everything his power for you to get the big fights depending the level of fighter you are.
