I don't think many people here would resemble all time greats, so the better question is which well-known boxer could you qualify and a poor man's so and so. I have not been in the gym in a few years, but pro trainers said I had good hand speed and even better power. I'm at the age where things aren't as quick as they used to be so I'll say in my day I had a nice double jab, a thumping right uppercut and a left hook to the head or body that could make the bad violently jerk. I didn't mind infighting, and because I was built for Football ( My sport ) I could use brute strength to move the other guy. At 6'2 with a 77" 1/2 reach 225lbs ( 215 ) in shape needed to box rounds, I'd be better suited for the 1930-1960's. Fans who never boxed underestimate the stamina you ned to do it, and how important balance is. Of Course you get hit so the ability to accept that, and take a punch are musts. So pick a football player who tried boxing with moderate success or a poor man's Joe Mesi.
I prefer to fight like Canelo If they hook and come in, it's Canelo, planting my feet heavy right hand counters. Ill catch you before during or after your shot with my right hand, Educated. Throw a jab with your elbow low? Overhand right, Throw it tucked into your chin? Uppercut under your arm. If you get wise and start trying to box me, I very quickly turn into GGG. Passive arms up parrying defense, catch and shoot jab, fighting from a crouch and applying pressure looking to cut off the ring. Eventually they get their guard up and start following my lead... trying to counter me, I have a nasty probe and prod game when someone gets overly defensive. I dont have a super deep gas tank and I forget about my left hand sometimes because I KNOW I will land the right. Because of the limited the tank I try to fight conservative, So I would prefer if everyone would come at me instead of making me chase them down and use extra energy please and thank you.
Being a tall, skinny guy for my weight always liked rangy boxer punchers. Tommy Hearns being number 1 but from today's lot would go for Kovalev
Punching power and head movement of Mike Tyson Footwork of Roy Jones Defensive prowess of Floyd Mayweather Chin of Marvin Hagler and last but not least, the heart and charisma of Ali
Power and timing of tyzu and the defence and movement maywether= unbeatable in at least 2-3 divisions
