If you were ggg's promoter, would you rush him to fight Ward?

No. First of all, the fight should be made at 160, and not 168. Golovking is a middleweight, and not even a particularly big one.
Second, he's not enough skilled to catch an elusive opponent and beat him.
    He's get easily outpointed.
Golovkin also gets hit way too much.
    He's definitely not ready.
It would be WAY easier for him to beat Chavez at "168" than to beat Ward at 160.

No way he has to come up or no fight EVER. He has to show he can clean up his own division before even thinking about ward who should start fighting more at Light Heavyweight because there is really no one at 168 maybe except winner of Froch-Groves.

If I were GGG promoter I would consider, but I wouldnt if I was Wards. GGG has little to lose really, if he lost a fight to the #2 p4p fighter it wouldnt really damage him. But Ward wont get a big payday for fighting now, compared to what he will get for the fight if GGG continues gaining popularity for a year (which he already surpasses Ward in that dept)

Also, if fight was at MSG with a good ref I would favor GGG. Even at 160 Golovkin hits harder than Ward, hits much harder in a phone booth and I have doubts that Ward could potshot him all night. I think it would be a good fight, but no reason to make it for about another 12-16 months to happen in 16-20 months. It will be a lot bigger fight in a year+ than it would be now.

In terms of boxing credentials a loss to ward doesn't look bad. But they are currently wanting to hype GGG as "unbeatable man with an iron chin with rocket launchers in his fists". I wouldn't think less of GGG for losing because I don't think THAT highly of him. However, the public is buying into GGG currently so they probably should get a few bigger W's and I wouldn't EVER go for Ward as GGG's promoter. Why not take on easier but big names at 168? Froch would be a very good choice IMO. Big money fight over in Europe. Ward has crap marketability to casuals and it wouldn't prove to big of a payday for Golovkin.

Even though I think it is prob a bad business decision right now for GGG, I would love to see him fight Ward.(Keep in mind my meal ticket isn't riding on him like his promoter though)

NO. 3G should stay @ 160 and clean out the division. Martinez, Cotto and Canelo are the future big money fights for 3G. :good

It would be a huge surprise to many on here, though I really can't see why, to see how badly Ward schools 3G. That's no knock on 3G but it would be a boring, one sided UD. He should stay at 160. I agree with the above that he has other big money opportunities on the horizon at or below mw.

At 168 GGG had zero chance and I'm a GolovTard. At a catch weight of 164 maybe.

It's not as if Ward was himself a big draw anyway. High risk/low reward for Golovkin who still has a lot to do at MW (and is a small MW by the way). Maybe down the road once GGG drills the likes of Quillin and Martinez but I expect Ward to be at LHW, where he should already be, by this time.

Yes, GGG can beat him and anyone else in that shitty division, but Ward is gonna duck

I would consider that fight in early 2015, 3 more fights, one good opponent at 160, one slickster at 160 and one of the top 10 contenders at 168.
