If you were Golden Boy Promotions, how would you match Khan?

Holt and Garcia have KO power. Holt would be easier but why risk it until Amir has honed his skills under Hill.

Holt is too risky with his power...I doubt GBP puts him in with a puncher next.

 

Khans appeal is much wider then an ethnic group.

Holt is wayyyyy too risky to put Khan in there with him right now, not saying Khan couldn't beat him but Khan is still in the process of trying to find himself as fighter and someone with Holt's power can interrupt those plans with one punch.

 

Better yet, put him in there with Pac, fool has shown history of going to sleep. Floyd can't be touched, can't be stopped.

 

How about Cesar Rene Cuenca as a next step, who is 43-0, but has only one stoppage?

If I were Golden Boy I'd honestly go to make as much money as fast as possible, not that I don't rate Khan because I think the amount of hate he gets on these forums is unreal, it just seems damn near impossible to tell which Khan is going to show up half the time, if they decide to go long term and his 'glass jaw gets smashed into a million pieces' or in reality terms he gets hit by a big punch by a lesser fighter his chance to make alot of money will be gone forever.

Get the Garcia rematch, If he wins brilliant loss avenged champion again, if he loses it's time to return to the UK for good.

Lure Ricky Burns to 140, the guy doesn't have outstanding power and this fight would generate alot of interest in the UK. If he wins then it's a great name to have on his resume and he can claim the real Khan is back, if he loses then he loses.

Go to 147 and face Kell Brook in a "grudge" match, regardless of Brooks upcoming fight and future fight results pretty much everyone in the UK who know anything about boxing wants this fight to happen, it's worked for Chisora and Haye coming off defeat(s), it would work for Khan Brook too.

Edit: throw the Prescott rematch in there too, I'm pretty sure Khan would win that one so it coud go in between loses he would likely incur.
