The things is, in that plan if he beats Garcia there will be a third fight...

    Peterson
    Lopez
    Garcia

Peterson not being a big puncher makes it more of a technical fight for Khan... will test his defensive improvements, inside game, ring movement, etc.... Lopez next tests Amir's punch resistance and tests his defensive style from a different perspective.. finally the big fish Garcia....

The thing is he wants to be one of the best so he's going to have to fight the best... no point in fighting Molinas as that won't get him anymore.. the Kell Brook fight is imminent once he goes 147 but he can't afford KO losses.. so it wiill be tough

**** it, throw that in too!

I pretty much just said what I think Khan should do regardless of results before the end of his career, which in my mind should be a short one, the guy is unlikely to make the hall of fame and could retire not brain dead and rich.

I don't know tbh, it was a close fight and Peterson has done nothing other than fail a drug test since.

Pretty much this, although I have a feeling it'll go Lopez, Garcia and then Peterson.

So it's pretty much agreed that Khan needs two fights before Garcia? In which case, I wouldn't put him anywhere near PEDerson or Lopez. Those two would beat him. Khan's still finding his feet under Virgil and hasn't proven that he's learned anything from him just yet. So I'd say:

    1. Soto
    2. Mabuza

Garcia is what they're working towards, so whilst Khan is trying to iron out his game in preperation for him, it would be wise to make sure his train isn't derailed again during this period. Because just like Elliot has said...

"it just seems damn near impossible to tell which Khan is going to show up half the time, if they decide to go long term and his 'glass jaw gets smashed into a million pieces' or in reality terms he gets hit by a big punch by a lesser fighter his chance to make alot of money will be gone forever."

...guys like Holt, Lopez and PEDerson can ruin his chances of fighting Garcia again.

Unless there is a championship on the line. I would keep him away from anyone with any power.

Abril -> Garcia -> Bradley. Abril is safe and would test Khan's ability to penetrate good defends. Garcia is unfinished business and Bradley is a logical progression to the welter weights and Bradley would welcome a big paycheck.

You would match your fighter with Abril haha seriously. That's a financial suicide IMAO. I honestly think that he can rematch Prescott after beating some blown up LW in his next fight
