When Tex Cobb was actively boxing...he had the cartilage remove from his nose so he wouldn't have so many broken noses. His doctor froze it to be re-inserted at a later date.

He attended Abilene Christian College in Texas, then something must have gone seriously wrong.

Chavez he could take a baseball bat to the face and keep coming.
Oliveras people will think he's weak cause he's small but one punch and there out.
Liston was the most intimidating heavyweight and had crazy power.
Ron Lyle did time for murder he is one crazy mofo plus hits like a truck.
Fritzie Zivic the guy would literally gouge your eyes out.

All truly dedicated professionals should have this done.

I just saw a rerun of Bruce Lee's "Enter the Dragon" on AMC the other day. He was asking John Saxon's character how to break out of a particularly troublesome hold. Hopelessly stumped, he was given the correct answer, "You bite him!" Later, in a deadly tournament, he did. That refreshes my perspective to recruit Tyson and Golota for my gang.

I think John L might be a good candidate.

Chuvalo, Cobb, La Motta, Archie Moore, Sullivan, Foreman, Dempsey would provide the necessary mixture of power and durability. This team wouldn't run away from anybody.

A P4P list (not just including heavyweights) would include for me

    Iran Barkley
    Diego Corrales
    Johnny Tapia
    Bernard Hopkins
    Roberto Duran
    Hector Camacho

The first 4 were known to roll with a gang in their younger years (I think Hopkins did), they would surely know some boys. Duran has a reputation as a youngster for being in numerous streetfights and being undefeated, anbd Camacho also has a reputation as a good street fighter.

If I had to include heavyweights, fighters like George Foreman, Sonny Liston, Jack Dempsey, Lennox Lewis etc etc Would make the list.
Anyone else heard about the altercation between Lewis and that sprinter at the olympics, I think it was Johnson? Johnson wouldn't have done ****

I wouldn't pick any of them. Prize fighting and street fighting are two totally different animals...

    Exactly.

A group of scum more interested in blindsiding and stabbing/shooting people to death would probably serve you better than some random boxers.
