If you were Hamzah Sheeraz's manager, which route would you take for him to become a world champion?

Which route should Hamzah Sheeraz take to become a world champ at middleweight?

His win over Bradley Skeete wasn’t. Skeete was winning comfortably and then Sheeraz knocked him down later on in the fight but knocked him out with a shot as he was on the ground from memory. This was towards the end of 2021.

This year he beat River Wilson Bent much quicker than Austin Williams did. His last opponent on the Usyk vs Dubois card was a career super-welterweight who was inactive and went life and death with Asinia Byfield despite his amateur experience.

Despite being a professional for 6 years his best domestic win is a semi-retired Bradley Skeete or Paul Kean.

I’ve said it a lot of times but I am very confident that if they fought next, Denzel Bentley would beat Hamzah Sheeraz. I remember Carl Frampton calling Sheeraz “the best prospect in British and world boxing”.

I can see Sheeraz losing to Bentley and blaming it on the weight which he did after his performance against Bradley Skeete. He’ll end up at super-middleweight in the next 2 years.

So long-story short, he looks to have very good potential, but is definitely being overhyped by certain people.

Very good fighter. Hamza has a piston like jab and he is a very damaging puncher. You’ve only got to see the state of River Wilson Bent who got stopped in 2, despite being known as fairly durable.

how credible is your source for this? i could believe it but you have to remember that ramadan starts march 10 meaning hamzah would have to fight before that. idk how realistic that is with the williamson fight happening in december.

I wonder why they're so insistent on making sheeraz or bentley fight janibek. he doesnt look very beatable to me and is probably the best fighter at 160. should have went after guatielieri when they had the chance. why not go down the wbc route instead?

Hopefully Noakes has a decent opponent. Why didn't they go to Wales with Williams and Gwynne on the card? They probably would have sold out the arena there.
