would you try to clean out the 130 pound division or move up to 135 like everyone else?

Looking at 130 right now, I can't see anyone that beats this guy.
    The title holders are...
    Valero - WBA
    Baloyi - IBF
    Arthur - WBO
vacant (should be Soto soon)- WBC

...Soto knocks out all of them in my eyes. He can easily clean out the division and wait for someone like Linares or John to move up.... or he can mix it up with all the big names at 135 where he would be in 50/50 fights. What would you do?

If I were Soto I would've decked Joe Cortez straight in the jaw.

Be the man at 130 first and if succesful . . . decide from there if he is going up.

Believe me Arum have a very concrete plan for Soto.

Interesting, i dont think he should clean out the division because that would take too long and his body is not going to get lighter (he entered at 147-just like Pacquiao last saturday) but he could become the lineal champ at 130lbs, or at least win a title, and then move up to 135 where i think he would do good also.

Be the man at 130, and fight the featherweight titlists who are planning to move up.

i'd rather be the best at 135 than be an average guy at 135. soto will not beat the top5 five fighters at 135 and as you said, he'll most likely beat any of the champs at 130. he should stay there and wait for better challengers such as linares ans john to move up. maybe even izzy and rafa will get there soon

I would get one or two titles at 130 for credentials, then move up for a title at lightweight.
