Yes, If I was still operating at this level...

I would take on Pacquiao, Peterson-Khan Winner, Morales $$$ fight, Rios would be a good win, but not great like a Khan Peteson Winner, at 140 rios is title less and hasn't demonstrated himself at 140 so I wouldn't want that fight next, he doesn't really gain much by beating Rios that he would gain, Khan Peterson winner, possibly unify with them...

So 3 good fight, maybe even four...

I would want that official win on my resume, so definitely pursue a PAC fight.

If he wins by a close margin again, he's not getting robbed in Mexico. Fight has to happen in Mexico or maybe Texas which Arum has stated he is open for it. JMM is at the tail end of his career, so why not cash out? You will not only get paid a ton of money but there's that chance (however small it is) of finally getting a decision win over Pacquiao.

The question was "if you were Marquez" so based on that yes a fourth fight is what is more lucrative. You get millions by fighting Pac. His legacy is okay as it is and as Floyd states, legacy don't pay bills. Marquez won't be remembered as the "best" Mexican even if he were to unify his division. That spot is taken by jcc. He will be among Morales, Barrera. So, for him or if I were him just persist on a Pac fight and retire with more millions.

As for us the fans a fourth fight is meaning less and we would rather see Rios vs Marquez.

The backlash for Manny hasn't been that harsh. To me I think Bob will ensure Manny will win even in the 4th fight. Sad. But true.

Well he faced Pac, Barrera, Mayweather, and should round it off with the shot to **** Erik Morales, and than have his 4th and final battle with Pac before finally retiring. It's too bad he couln't have put his stamp on Ricky Hatton too before he drowned himself at the Pub.

Absolutely, but he's doing the right thing by pursuing other fights whilst waiting. Staying active and relevant at 140 will put pressure on another pac bout.

He should just move on. He already knows it, boxers, fans, anf boxing experts agree he beat pac. Hes not gonna get pac in mex and in vegas = 4th robbery. Plus most of the *******s have settled and stopped posting " foot tricks "and roid comments. Its getting nice around here again ^_^

I would fight Rios, make Morales a take it or leave it offer and ride off into the sunset knowing that the whole world knows I had Manny's balls right in the palm of my hand forever.

JMM never fights anyone really good except Pacman. If he gets stopped by Pacman in the 4th fight that might hurt his legacy.

There is no opponent who can bring him even a quarter of the purse he'd get with Pac.

    And he's getting no younger.

So yes, pursue another fight with Pac.

They have been epic so far.

It just isn't an exciting fight. What is the point of it? To see if JMM can finally beat him and get the judges to vote his way? I wish it was an exciting fight to look forward to. I honestly think Pacman has fought the best. He could retire now and have a great ATG rating. Definetly in the top 20.

    WTF ???

Have any of their three previous encounters been dull ?

If you feel they have, then maybe you're watching the wrong sport.

Same point as when any two great rivals meet. To produce an exciting bout with each man laying it on the line.

    It is.

The thread question is not about what Pac should do.

I would go for it it's probably the biggest payday he can get, plus what's another 'loss' on his record? the real fans know the score.
