Would you continue to lobby for a Mayweather fight or think stuff him and carry on without him?
I realise that the payday would be immense but I'm sure he has done very well already and doesn't have money issues. In that position I would decide that being messed around wasn't for me and refuse any future offers unless on my terms, essentially meaning no Floyd fight.

    Mauyweather is short of options..

Khan should just shutup perform well in his next fight. Floyd knows Khan can sell...

Other than Khan who else can May fight in Sep/December? Garcia is the next legit option but Garcia & co are smart...they arn't taking a loss for a payday..but they could try for that fight in Sep/december...

I definitely think Khan would have loved the pay day that would have occurred from a Mayweather fight. But I really think (delusional or not), Khan truly believes in his heart he has the skills to give Mayweather problems. Some experts agree with him. Most fans and experts don't. I just find it interesting that people are so quick to bash him for wanting to challenge himself against the best. As a sportsman, that is the ultimate.....to challenge oneself at the highest level.

Khan needs to fight three times this year, win in style 3 times and corner Floyd into a fight.

I'd forget about the Mayweather fight altogether & concentrate on cementing my own legacy.

    I would:

1- Rematch Peterson in a non-title fight at 147, drag his cheating ass to the UK, since he aint got no fans & Khan already got screwed in Petersons home town.
2- Provided he beats Peterson fight the winner of Porter/Malignaggi again in th UK.
3- Now he's world champion at 147 he's got something to bring to the table as far as a rematch with Danny Garcia goes, fight him & beat him,
4- Should Garcia refuse the rematch I'd jump ship from GBP & promote myself/sign up with HBO & look to make the Bradley/Pacquiao/Marquez fights.

By the time Floyd picks his next opponent almost two whole years will have gone by without Khan fighting a top world level fighter. He has to win a BIG fight before mid June to be part of the Mayweather sweepstakes, surely. Not a lot of available opponents will be good enough either. Thurman or Lucas (and maybe Guerrero/Collazo) are the only one that might be available that fits the bill. Pretty much all nightmare match-ups for him. A win over Collazo might not even be enough.
Conclusion: He should forget about Floyd for now and take it one fight at a time.

There is a 50/50 chance khan gets knocked out in his next fight.

Of course Khan only wants to fight Mayweather.

He might get knocked out his next fight.

That makes perfect sense, I believe. I think Mayweather will not leave his radar though until he retires.
