Floyd doesn't do PPV shares or "purse splits". He just pays his opponents a flat fee(career high for all of them) and takes all the risk for the back end profit. That's his model, and he makes a ton of money doing it. I wouldn't do it if I were him either.

I guarantee Pac wouldn't make much more than 40M if Mayweather agreed to a "purse split". It's really just semantics. I bet Floyd wouldn't make much more than 60M or so before a 50/50.

I dissagree as your bringing variable factors into the equation really.

Look at it soley based on raw numbers to include revenue, ppv #'s, and past splits. This way, you would have a fair offer. The $40 million was very fair.

Fine, look at DLH and Floyd's ppv history prior, then look at Pac vs this Floyd's recent numbers. On that basis, this fight gets more than twice as many buys. But I'm not saying we do that, I'm just telling you there's enough uncertainty that a percentage split is the only way to go.

    What are you talking about?

I'm not taking anything out or throwing out or putting in anything. I'm not gonna twist the story like that. I'm taking all common opponents. Doing it your way twists stuff around and all that.

Even if a percentage split is the way to go. Manny won't get any better than than $40,000,000. Your also not mentioning that Floyd does more revenue and averages close to 350,000 more ppv buys than Manny and that is 25% of what Manny does in numbers approx(common opponents).

Anything within reason to give the fans the fight they want & make boxing history into the bargain.

40 mil is definitely within reason.

Shane made 6 million with Floyd as a guarantee and only got 3.95 with Pacquiao as a guarantee.

Manny has fallen stock since fighting Marquez and losing to Bradley. He isn't on that level he was when he was going to be given 50/50...or whoops..maybe he was (before losing to Bradley offiically) but Floyd's stock has grown as the numbers support.
