If you were Mayweather, who would you fight and why?

Choice between two options. I would maybe try to enhance my legacy by fighting the clearly declined Maravilla at MW. Big change on a loss, but still points for trying if that happens.
Or I would go for huge money and finally fight Pac. Probably that.

I would use my influence to force an eliminator between Khan and Maidana, then fight the winner(obviously). After that, I would fight the winner of Pac-Bradley II as both would presumably be clear of their obligations to Top Rank by next September.

 

I have full confidence that Lara-Mayweather can happen, but he's going to have to string together some really impressive wins(Molina II, Canelo, Smith?) to even have a chance.

 

Sure hope it does. I'm kinda thinking Lara gets to fight the winner of Cotto - Martinez and then the one who tops that gets Floyd. Lara as good as he is doesn't have following, He needs a big name before Floyd.

GB vs. TR war exists. Maidana is the best, hottest recent commodity at WW he hasn't already beaten or who doesn't fight with Top Rank. And if entertainment plays any role than the case for Maidana is unmatchable in that aspect.

If I was Floyd I'd fight the safest but most lucrative fighter.

If I was Floyd with a bigger left ball I'd fight for legacy and challenge the best out there.
