IF you were Pac's trainer how would you tell him to beat Floyd?

Be super quick on his feet then, keep him turning, step behind him as he turns away and bang away from where he can't see?

he won 3 or 4 depending on how you feel.... but lack of frequency isn't the answer.... neither is smart pressure

I would call Margaritos wife up and get her to spill some tea on his wraps.

Also, I would have her bake Mayweather a cake and place his wraps in there.

Then use the wraps herself and give him a hand massage with some hand cream that she has left over from Margaritos hands.

Then somehow someway, pay off someone in Mayweathers team to use the wraps on fight night.

THEN Pay Nazim to be ur 2nd and go watch Mayweathers hands get wrapped.

Then Mayweather gets caught, and he's out of his game and can't think right.

I think the Pacquiao that fought JMM is the same one who fought Oscar and Hatton

Juan is a great boxer so Pac will look more human against him

double up the hook, he is very side on and bends at the waist so isn't so good at rolling under the southpaw right hook. smother him when he puts his head down?

Yeah, and if Pac didn't have a body, he wouldn't have lost by ko two times in 3 rounds by body shots. If...If...If...:nut

wwm you're getting boring, there's no mystical formula to beat Mayweather.

You just gotta do a bit of everything against him, no one geared fighter beats Mayweather on his best night, you gotta be smart.

Sure Pacquiao has to go in and out, move around and use angles, but even if he misses he'll create a lot of excitement and try to get Floyd off balance which is mighty hard.. but even missing he'll steal rounds on throwing shots.

Pacquiao can't get stuck in a jabbing contest, he has to get in and out, and when he's out he's gotta move and stay away a bit and make Floyd come to him.

Pacquiao also needs to work on clinch or semi-clinch aswell, he lacks in that department.. and Floyd is a beast there.

We can play this game all night long, but neither man will be spot on.

Pacquiao has weaknesses and Floyd has some too, that's just the game, otherwise Floyd wouldn't have lost rounds to JLC, Judah and DLH, or Pacquiao wouldn't have lost rounds to JMM and EM. (We're talking about improved fighters here, at their peak)

Pacquiao has grown as a champion on everyone, he's getting better and better and is peaking right now.

Do you want Pacquiao to adopt something Bernard Hopkins used for example against Calzaghe?

Move in and out, and bend the rules if needed be?
And keep the tempo at a minimal?

    :think

no bending the rules... it would take a combination of things to beat floyd... not 1 technique in particular could do it... and if roach tries to employ 1 particular style it is highly unlikely that it will work

I don't know, I'm sounding silly now but I like this game. How about waiting for Floyd to throw first? Counter that jab with lead lefts, right hooks and counter his lead right with left crosses to the body and get out quick. Alternate from head to the body, sometimes fainting to the head and going to the body and vice versa.
