IF you were Pac's trainer how would you tell him to beat Floyd?

I'd tell him to study Roberto Duran's psychological tactics in the runup to the Brawl in Montreal. I.e. get Floyd mad as hell, insult his manhood and courage, make comments about his girlfriend & sexuality. Do as much as possible to make PBF want to kick Manny's ass. Then in the fight PBF, if he falls for it, will want not to win with the least risk as he usually does, but he'll want to kick Pac's ass and prove a point. This will negate his best strategy which would be to let Manny attack and then counterpunch.

Leonard fell for this and played right into Duran's strengths. In the second fight he went for his natural hit & run tactics and won easily.

I'd also tell him to watch Locche vs Peppermint Frazer, to learn how to attack effectively against a defensive wizard.

Put combinations together to break his defence. Utilise the jab, use feints to create some opening's, counter with straight lefts and right hooks like Zab Judah did.

I dont know but i have a feeling that freddie roach has a better chance to come up with way to beat mayweather than anybody on this board! It doesn't matter what you come up with its up to the fighter to execute it and even then the other guy is just sometimes better than you!

Not to mention the only two times I saw Floyd visibly hurt were to southpaws... Corley, and Judah.

But Pacquiao is not a great counter puncher at all and is offense is his best defense. If Mayweather leads he might just tag Pacquiao all night. PPL must've forgot when Mayweather retired he was the most accurate boxer in the sport. The more he throws the more hes gonna land, not good

    my man.. whtas good

but yo just like someone else just said.... you have to be a great counter puncher to do this..and keep it up for 12 rounds.. floyd made adjustments in both of those fights so he could lead with success
